Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Loved everything about this little house! Beds were super comfy, kitchen had everything we needed and more. Nice location for a stroll into the city centre . Loved the decor and the photos on the walls were amazing. Met the owner who was just as lovely as her home and had left us a bottle of fizz to start the weekend, so kjnd and thoughtful.

There is nothing to dislike, it’s fabulous.

A fabulous property.

The location of this property is excellent, we have stayed in this location before so we knew exactly where it was. The house was spotlessly clean and had everything that we could ever need. We would definitely stay here again.

No vanity mirrors in bedrooms. Has mirror on wardrobe door but not where dressing table area was so no plug sockets near mirrors to do hair etc.

Everything was great.

On last day the radiator pipes developed an air pocket. All very noisy from about 7am. Last 30 minutes.. As we were already up not too much of a problem.

It was immaculate and very homely The apartment had everything you need and we had a wonderful stay Everything you need is around your place

In our group there were 2 couples. Unfortunately there is only one toilet bathroom. It was still a decent walk into town centre

Wasn’t too much of a issue but wish I knew before booking that it was a part time home with personal belongings as it did feel a bit like I was invading someone’s space, again nothing wrong with it just not for everyone

Relaxing stay for family

Beautiful, clean and comfortable home - perfect for a small family. All kitchen amenities including condiments and coffee/ tea are available. We loved the biscuits- a nice touch by the owner. It’s a 20 minute easy walk to the city centre. Free parking is a bonus! Ideal stay to unwind after a long day of sightseeing.

Great place to stay for visiting York

Very clean, peaceful and comfortable. Very good location with all the necessary home comforts you could require. A great place to unwind after a busy day sightseeing.

If I have to think of something, it would probably be that I would have preferred curtains on the front bedroom window as opposed to roman blinds, as the light came through the sides waking me up earlier than I would have liked. This is not a criticism though as the property was perfect for our stay.

Attractive, modern, small house. Very generous hostess. Interesting art work and book/record collection. Excellent value Italian restaurant a 10 min walk away (La Terrazzina)

Great value and great loction

The location was an easy 20 minute walk to the centre of York. The house was exceptionally clean and had everything we needed for our 2 night stay including a bottle of bubbles and some crackers to enjoy on our arrival. Would not hesitate to recommend.

Check-in was simple. The house is very comfortable and well appointed. The area is quiet for a good night’s sleep and the bottle of prosecco and box of crackers on arrival was a lovely touch and made us feel very welcome. This house supplies nearly every condiment that you can think of. Good kitchen with full size fridge/freezer was perfect to cook a meal. Wi fi was good and a free parking spot across the road made it so easy. It seems a distance to walk to the town but it really isn’t. I found it fine and I am in my late 60s and of average fitness for my age.

Lovely flat close to city centre

The location was great, a short walking distance from the city centre. The flat had everything what you needed, clean and comfy bed, good size living room, good kitchen. Definitely worth visiting!

Fantastic place to stay, will definitely stay again

The location was great, easy to find and parking was a bonus. The facilities were exceptional and very clean. Loved the Procecco and nibles and tea and coffee, great touch. The record collection was great and had much of my own collection I've not played for many years so great to have been able to play them. Thanks for that.Great art work too

Location was excellent. House is in a quiet cul-de-sac. Easy walking distance to the city centre with all its attractions, and the Railway museum. Plenty of pubs and restaurants nearby. The house is very well-equipped and has Sky TV.

Muy agradable y tranquila

La casa es muy acogedora y se podía ir dando un paseo al centro de la ciudad. Cuenta con una gran anfitriona que nos dejó utilizar todo lo de la casa. Está muy bien decorada y muy equipada, sin duda la anfitriona tiene muy buen gusto. Recomiendo mucho alojarse aquí y repetiremos si volvemos a York en un futuro.
