Good location

Needs updating, mattress slats on one bed not in place leading to a wonky bed (we fixed). Could see bare footprints on front room floor. Damp

It was a very nice property with on road parking .

It was a little unclean , and carpet worn.

Easy to find, free to park right outside. Communication was great from the owner, no issues at all. Towels provided, the kitchen had washing up liquid / sponge and tea / coffee. Loads of local shops /bars within a 5 min walk.

No outside space to sit, fan provided in one bedroom but not the other so I'd take a fan if staying in summer, luckily we did so it wasn't a problem.

We really enjoyed the location. Perfect for walking into York City centre. We also enjoyed visiting the local butchers and bakery. WiFi was good and the beds were comfortable. The heating and hot water was good and shower was powerful. Ryan, was really quick to respond to our questions and organised for us to have a late check out at short notice, which we really appreciated.

We found the property to be in need of a deep clean, the kitchen floor was sticky and some of the plates did need to be rewashed. Unfortunately there was a cracked tile in the bathroom, so we had to navigate that with our small child. The carpets could do with being replaced and everything felt like it needed a lick of paint.
