Good Value but could be do

location and warm good shower and kitchen

sofa bed not good and curtains poor and falling off. Bedding really poor quality . Which was a shame as let it down as apart from that really nice flat.

Everything you need for a weekend away.

Great location. Everything you need for a weekend away. Bed was comfy, great living space to people watch. Fantastic restaurants around the corner. Good location for York park run!

Great location but beds could be better

The location was great. Shower and Kitchen were good, as in lots of hot water, facilities like the toaster, microwave and kettle was useful

Both the bed upstairs and the sofa bed was uncomfortable as it sagged. Pillows for the sofa bed was too soft. Lack of hanging space / hooks and shelving to place things. There wasn't enough toilet paper for 4 pax / 4 nights (we only had 1.5 rolls when we arrived).

We had a lovely time in this cute little flat!

The property was in a fantastic location, close enough that you could walk to the centre. The bed was super comfortable! We had all the cooking utensils we needed and we really appreciated having access to a Netflix account. All in all a really lovely place!

The only things I was disappointed about was that we were only left with one dishwashing tablet for the machine. And the pretty fairy lights in the living room wouldn’t work (unless we just couldn’t figure it out) but otherwise everything was perfect.

Overall a good, cheap place to stay to explore the centre of York.

Good location , ideal for a stay in York. Also, a welcome hamper was a nice gesture. And fresh towels and bedding.

Sofa bed wasn’t comfortable , and stains on the mattress.

Good value for money, great location and lively hosts.

It was well located to the city about a 15 min walk to the centre. Hosts were lovely and accommodating. Facilities were very good. Check in and out process was very smooth.

Sofa bed is pretty poor, needs looking at not sure if it’s just the mattress topper or the actual bed. Very thin walls so not great if your a light sleeper. I would maybe consider getting an additional lock on the internal door as the lock that’s on now doesn’t give 100% confidence.

A comfortable place to stay and convenient location for exploring York.

The apartment is well located, comfortable and well equipped. We especially enjoyed having the comfy seat by the window nook for watching the locals go about their lives. An added bonus was having all the games and books to enjoy.

Would be nice to have a way to open the window in the living room to get some fresh air and cool off the place in the summer.

Comfortable, well equipped apartment in easy reach of central York

Great location for reaching town centre and railway station. Lovely independent shops just around the corner, including a great cafe and a bakery. Excellent shower, comfortable bed.

Bedroom light not working. The lock on the door to the apartment was a bit fiddly.

Relaxing stay in a lovely apartment and local area of York.

Location it was only short walk into York Central and all it had to offer, the local area itself was really very good with a main street ( Bishy Road )full of plenty of places to eat and drink, sainsburys local and a lot other bespoke shopping.

Norse nonsense in York

Location. Bathroom was modern and worked, and street view was interesting

No bathroom fan working. No means to make proper coffee- caffitiere or stove top. Poor bedding - lumpy and hot There was nothing Scandi about this place.

Location was great, price would have been great if stay was more comfortable. Would be great for cooler and winter month

No AC and bedroom on third floor, VERY HOT. With windows open it was okay, but closing them for rain or to go out made it quickly too hot again. Would be fine in the colder months. Also, the old lock on the front door was very difficult for unlocking from the inside and outside. Would be a hazard if there was a fire, or any other reason you needed to be out quickly.

Birthday weekend

The apartment was very clean and beautifully decorated. It had everything we needed, including shower gel, shampoo and conditioner, towels and hairdryer. The location was great, just a short walk from the station and city centre.

The bed was a little delicate, but we both slept well regardless

The location is excellent. The space is nice and well furnished. Good instructions to find and enter the premises.

The bed is cheap, not sturdy enough and should be strengthened so it doesn’t wiggle.

Pleasent for a short stay.

Local to the City centre. Comfortable for a short stay. Very reasonably priced. Some local shops are nearby. Lovely big double bedroom. Opposite the City Walls, which is a nice walk. Didn't use the kitchen, but it seemed really well equipped. My son said the bed was very comfortable. The bedroom upstairs was very spacious.

I'm being picky, as I usually stay in hotels, but the towels seemed a little worn. My son used the bedroom, and I used the sofa bed. I didn't bother pulling it out. I just used the sofa, but the bed linen available for the sofa bed didn't feel very fresh. TV didn't work. I contacted via message, but no reply.

Amenities are great, location perfect location had a lovely breakfast in the Pig . 10 minute walk to the centre loved the walk over the bridge.

It’s not a secret the sofa not to bad just a tad hard on the old buttocks 😙, but puffed up with cushions not to bad, loved the bean bag .

Clean cosy cute and good location, kind host! Loved the supplies that were there already which was really thoughtful

Being quite picky, but there were a couple small hairs on my pillow when I first arrived and a little bit of hair in the shower. The bigger kitchen saucepan had a stain that ruined our rice (turned brown) so just thought you should know! May be worth replacing it. We couldn’t get the stain off really.

We where very happy with our stay, the apartment was wonderful. They go above and beyond. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. The little things is what make a difference. I can not say enough about this retreat. We will be back. Thank you for making our first trip to York, a lovely experience.

The only dislikes was the sofa bed, it was comfortable to sit on but not for sleeping. The living room window does not remain open, we had to prop it open with books.
