York’s quaint cobbled streets lead to a plethora of wonderful shops, chic wine bars, restaurants and tea shops; something for everyone! York has many attractions including Jorvik Viking Centre, York Dungeons, Castle Museum and the National Railway Museum, all within walking distance. The racecourse and designer shopping outlet are within a 10 minute drive. Both the North York Moors and the Yorkshire Dales are within easy reach. Shop and pub 400 yards.

Fantastic house near the centre of York. It had everything you could have wanted and was to a very high standard. The 2 bedrooms were very comfortable and the bathroom was really good. Lovely to have a private parking space. The price we paid was very competitive considering the price of similar accommodation in York. If we visit York again we’ll definitely stay in this little gem again.

It was a fantastic week. The home is a real home from home in a great location a short walk to the city centre and to the railway station. It has everything you need to cook. Such a beautiful house in a stunning city.

Excellent cottage, everything you need for a break. 2nd visit and will return. Only 5 minutes walk into York city. Easy to find and parking right outside your door. Very quiet area. Cottage is very cosy and spotlessly clean. Ideal for a couple or a family with children.
