Freedom lodge was the perfect decision for our 1st visit to Aviemore and the Cairngorm mountain.

The location was perfect for our visit to the Cairngorm mountain. Nestled next to the river as well as being close to town. A lot of the attractions and outdoor activities just a short drive away. The lodge is clean, cozy, well equipped and maintained. It had everything we needed in the kitchen too. Access and instructions clear and succinct Wonderful stay here.

Lovely clean warm place really great for families

Absolutely lovely place to stay. So clean and tidy and quiet. Within walking distance to the main town. The cleaner met us when we arrived and left the keys in the door for us she was super friendly. The place was immaculate and warm with the heating on.

The Fantastic Freedom Lodge 💛

⭐️ The lodge has absolutely everything you need. In fact I’d say it is the most well equipped Lodge we have ever stayed in! Half the stuff we had brought we didn’t even need to use. ⭐️ The beds were comfortable, soft mattresses - I know some people prefer a harder mattress but we didn’t mind them at all. We also brought our own pillows but the pillows available were super comfortable. ⭐️ The property was immaculately clean and tidy, smelled incredible, nicely decorated. The WIFI connection was superb and TV channels were on point for a family with two young children. ⭐️ Our son has Autism so finding places to stay that suit his needs can be a struggle however, this Lodge was perfect for him. The TV options and WIFI made his holiday easy going, the enclosed decking made letting him outside easy and safe, and the snug double single beds made sleeping safe for him. ⭐️ The power shower was fab, not a silly dribble shower like you’d typically find 😂 ⭐️ Great location and so easy to find. ⭐️ There are also a small selection of games and books that the kids loved emptying onto the floor.

There is nothing in particular that we didn’t like about the property. If there was anything picky I’d mention the sofa wasn’t the most comfortable for sitting in the evenings, however that is personal preference and not everyone holidays the same way we needed to.

We had a wonderful stay at the caravan house! The place was spotless, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The location was perfect for a relaxing break, and we really appreciated the thoughtful touches from the host. Communication was clear and friendly throughout, which made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend this stay to anyone looking for a cozy and welcoming place!

Safe, clean, quiet & perfect location

Fantastic location, really well kept. The interior is extremely well presented, cleaned to a very high standard. Comms with the host was excellent, plenty of info dotted around with how to work things, how to dispose of waste etc. super helpful!

The only thing we found was the sofa was very uncomfortable. We didn’t spend masses of time indoors but for the hour or two before heading off to bed, two out of the 4 adults on our trip picked an evening to be on the sofa on rotation. There’s hardboard that’s been put underneath the cushions so it’s due replacing.

Fantastic break. Can’t wait to return ……

Really lovely comfortable accommodation centrally located for exploring the cairngorms and surrounding areas. Places to eat out and supermarkets within walking distance. The lodge is situated in a well maintained park with a bar on site with lovely views towards the cairngorms and river Spey running through it. Such a great location if you’re looking to get away from hustle and bustle for a break. There are ducks and rabbits that waddle/run about the site and the location really makes you feel you are immersed in nature which is lovely. Due to getting up very early to go exploring we cooked all our meals in the lodge which is extremely well equipped with everything you could need for making a meal from scratch (full size fridge/freezer, gas oven, grill and hob, pots, pans, chopping boards, foil, knives, salt, pepper -the list goes on). There are towels and bedding provided and it’s extremely comfortable with a lovely veranda for enjoying the weather and views and it gets the sun most of the day. Don’t hesitate to book this accommodation. You won’t be disappointed.

great location, the caravan itself is spotless clean, host prepared everything we may need. Had a lovely 2 nights stay and would like to come back in the future.

All members of our family prefer a hard mattress but the beds in the property are quite soft. But we totally understand as it’s personal choice and host can not satisfy every single person at this side

Great relaxing little stay in a comfortable caravan

Lovely caravan, Clean, well presented, comfortable and warm. Nice little pub nearby and ducks wandering around the grass. Appreciated the little extra bits such as salt/pepper/ spices in the cupboard, kitchen had everything we needed. Great pizzeria nearby although not open at the start of the week.

Beautiful lodge with absolutely everything we needed for our stay. All the extra little things like tea, coffee and sugar and were available which was a nice touch. The lodge was so cosy and warm and the double bed was so comfy. The hosts were quick to answer any questions and easy to contact. Only a 10 minute walk to the centre and about 5 minute drive to loch morlich. Very good location, and a lot right on our doorstep. I would 100% recommend this lodge and definitely would return in the future.

Exceptional accommodation in Aviemore

Fabulous lodge. Beautiful location,surrounded by trees and wildlife, yet on Aviemore's main road within a couple of minutes. Easily walkable too. Stunning decor, everything is like new. Very much a home from home, with an extremely well resourced kitchen, lovely accessories around the home, excellent central heating and bathrooms. Highly recommend. Fabulous owner who answered any questions via message within a few minutes. Free WiFi too!

Brilliant location, very clean, comfortable accommodation which had everything we needed including space for a family of four. Lovely and warm after a day out exploring the local area. Close to all local amenities including a lovely pub and beautiful walks along the river.
