Cheap, but you get what you pay for

It was semi private and cheap for being reasonably close with free parking

The shower flooded every time we showered, the floor was clearly rotting underneath. The bathrooms were not very clean either. The rooms were quite small as well and the sheets were very cheaply done

Perfect stay

We absolutely loved our stay at Rossal House Apartments in Inverness. The building itself is stunning and full of character — we fell in love with it at first sight. From the moment you step inside, you feel the authentic Scottish atmosphere, which made the experience even more special. Check-in was completely contactless, very convenient, and the instructions were clear and easy to follow. Our apartment was warm, cozy, and although not very large (as we intentionally chose a smaller option), it was perfectly sufficient for our needs. The kitchenette was equipped with everything we needed for a short stay. The value for money was excellent, and parking right in front of the building was hassle-free. Inverness turned out to be a fantastic base for exploring the Highlands, and staying at Rossal House made our trip even better. We highly recommend this place to anyone traveling through the Highlands.

Good hotel and the walk is local to hotel and parking is free

The heating was excellent and the room was ok but could be better tea and biscuits were lovely and room was clean

The property over all was ok the shower was blocked and needed unblocking and could not have a shower the bed was ok but mattress needed replacing the iron board was broken. The kitchen floor and fridge needed cleaning

Easy to find, relaxing with great facilities.

Accommodation and Facilities, only stayed one night arriving late and leaving early, but I found the accommodation very good.

Inside key lock was a little difficult to understand as the screen was blank until activated by repeated swipes.

Lovely and large retreat

Very large room with high ceilings, and a lovely light filled reading nook. All the essentials provided in a well appointed kitchenette. Very quiet. Easy check in and check out.

The mattress was a bit on the cheap side - soft, spongy and springy, which was a surprise as that didn't really match with the overall look of the property.

Great location on the Isle of Skye!

Great location and plenty of space for two couples traveling together. We appreciated the outdoor space and washer/dryer. The indoor spaces were clean.

Rooms are tight so we had issues with our luggage. The outdoor seating was dirty. The dryer wasn’t working properly. WiFi was slow.

Perfect for Our Overnight Stay

Lovely property with a variety of rooms to suit your needs. Some of our group had full apartments with bathrooms and some had apartments with shared bathrooms. All were clean and spacious. The self check in was great and the staff were communicative with instructions. We only stayed one night before our flight, but I would have been happy to stay more!

Some in our group had an annex family apartment and said it was very warm, but it was an unusually warm day in Scotland 🙂

Great weekend away

Location and setting was beautiful, with well kept surroundings. We were placed to the back of the main building. The instruction to gain entry were precise and hassle free. Kitchen was well equipped as was the room, I feel the bed could do with a new matress. Free wifi came in great and a smart tv was a bonus as we were able to watch netflix. Bathroom was always available, but I would suggest adding a bathroom screen cleaner so bathroom could be left in a clean state for the next user.

I dont think there was anything that I didn't like - was very hard to get a taxi but that may just be an Inverness issue.

Comfortable, clean room, lovely location and easy parking

My small room behind the main building was quiet and comfortable. There was a kitchen next door to my room with huge fridge and table to dine. Car parking was easy. Our wing of three units had two shared bathrooms. There were key codes for entry and we could also access the main building which had a lovely lounge area with open fireplace and high ceilings. I imagine the serviced apartments in this part of the building are more opulent, but I chose the budget option, which was perfect for a solo traveller for one night. The property is stunning with beautiful gardens where you can sit outside.

There were codes to access our part of the building and the individual rooms. While this provided great security, I was terrified of locking myself out of my room or the building when going to the bathroom/car park and not having the code to hand, especially after hours. There were no staff on site to help out. It all felt a bit impersonal.

The style and decoration, it was cozy and clean. Very quiet and free parking.

Dated Mattress , loose coils/sprung coming up from inside , ruined our sleep . It ruined the whole look and feel of the place.. the mattress is fundamental when renting a room. No breakfast

Lovely room, bright, clean, welcoming and comfortable. Very quiet. Quick communication with the host. Clear instructions. Kitchen was complete with the necessities to make a meal. Close to the river and trail making it a great place for a stroll. 30 minutes walk to downtown made this an excellent location for us.

This place is amazing, room are big and you have also a kitchen inside. You have a parking included and you can walk to the city centre, it’s about 30 min by foot on a path close the river

Facilities, cleanliness, warm room were all fantastic, despite uncomfortable bed, would stay again.

Quiet, I felt like the only person staying there. Some hotels weren't as clean as this. The room temperature was controlled by you, which I loved.

Bed mattress was uncomfortable, it definitely needs replacing, could feel every spring.

Good for a short stay

The cleanliness of the oven, still full of stripping product. The kettle is rusty and scaled. In the bathroom, the shower/head switch doesn't work. A large light under the door. The box spring bedding is really bad. Perfect location and superb house, but the equipment is not at all suited to the service.

wonderful retreat close to city

Beautiful, quiet location walkable from town along the river, lovingly decorated and high quality equipped room, very clean, impressive hall in main building to sit and read, great little kitchen and good bathrooms, surrounded by garden :)

lower rooms in annex don't have a great view but still quiet, friendly and bright
