Quiet and beautiful room with all necessary amenities.

The room was situated in walking distance from the river and the 20 minute walk to the city centre was always very nice. The room was very clean and equipped with all necessary amenities including a drying rack for clothes, which was very helpful for us.

The single bathroom on the ground floor was a challenge for three people but manageable. For people that have problems with stairs, the bedrooms being on the upper floor with the bathroom on the ground floor should be something to consider. Salt and pepper was also missing from the kitchen.

Pleasant property in a good location

Good location close to town. Cooking facilities were good. Nice and quiet overnight.

Bathroom was downstairs but it wasn’t too much of an inconvenience.

We had a very nice holiday at Inverness and wished we had longer to stay at the Tack Room.

The Tack Room was in a great location within easy walking distance to the city centre and to lovely walks along a river and near a park. Places to eat and purchase groceries also very handy. The accommodation was very nice with a nice outdoor area to sit if the weather is suitable. Lovely and clean. Very nice bathroom facilities. It would be a good place to stay for an extended period because of the facilities.

The toilet was downstairs but the bedrooms were upstairs but that is very minor.

Hosts are exceptionally helpful and kind. The property is fantastic and very well equipped, just like a home from home. Fabulous wardrobe space and a massive trunk safe. The shower is amazing, the towels are of high quality and a great selection of crockery, glasses, laundry facilities and coffee, tea and milk supplied

Only criticism would be that as there was only 2 of us with the additional bedroom we would have preferred more comfortable seating in the living room instead of a sofa bed

The blinds let in quite a lot of light and it gets light at 3.30am in the summer so bring an eye mask if you want to lay in

Fantastic

Location was ideal ten to 15 minutes away from restaurants bars and shops.lots to do and see in and around Inverness. Our property the tack room was wonderful, spotlessly clean everything we needed and more home from home. Outside parking was really good. We will definitely go back in near future

Our hosts were amazing, so accommodating and responsive. The location was perfect, especially as my husband was completing the ETAPE Ride. The house was lovely, and we had everything that we needed.

Everything was perfect for our weekend stay in Inverness. Most certainly plan to stay again.

Exceptionally clean, cosy, spacious and well equipped. Peaceful area and very comfortable bed so had a good night's sleep. Ideal location a nice walk along the river to Eden Court Theatre, restaurants and shops.

Perfect stay

First class accommodation. Spacious, sparkling clean and contains everything we required and some for a very comfortable stay. Great location for both the town and visiting local attractions and close to river for fishing.

This was our first taste of Highland Scotland and the Tack Rooms were the perfect home from home.

The Tack Rooms are crisp, clean, cosy and modern. It makes a great impression when you first arrive (appreciated after a long journey). The Tack Rooms are very well equipped and everything worked (plus all instructions for all the appliances are provided). Two bedrooms and three sleeping areas (with the sofa bed) give great flexibility and personal space. Having the kitchen was so helpful, it was fully equipped, and even had ready ice cubes in the freezer! The location was fabulous for exploring Inverness itself and as a base for trips further afield. It's off the beaten track and, consequently, superbly quiet for a peaceful night's sleep, but it's only a few min's walk to the river Ness.

The only slight issue was that the bedrooms were very warm on the first two nights, but a lot of that was down to how lucky we were with the good weather!

Very clean superb new property. All rooms are beautifully decorated with comfy beds/mattresses, luxury bed sheets, towels and toiletries. Situated in a quiet area, nice location and free parking. Complete with all the basics that you need in a self catering accommodation. We even had fresh milk and cereal, and free tea and coffee. The back garden/courtyard was also a bonus with 2 seating areas. Very good communication with the owner and made sure we settled well on the day we arrived.

I didn’t realize the bedrooms were upstairs and the bathroom was downstairs. Sometimes parking/driving was a problem due to other cars.

Excellent. Totally worth the price.

Location was excellent. It was a mere 15 mins walk to the city center. Almost everything is accessible within walking distance. The interior design and furnishing had a modern look. The kitchen was clean and well equipped. The shower had a constant supply of running hot water - which was great considering we’ve come from other places without constant supply of hot water.

Perhaps a coat hanger in front of the toilet/front door would be nice. There was a minor inconvenience of finding a place to hang our wet towels and jackets.
