It’s a fabulous villa – clean, spacious, with four comfortable bedrooms, a well-equipped kitchen, and beautiful decorations. We were especially touched by the kindness and thoughtfulness of the host.
It’s perfect for a family trip and made our journey in Scotland even more enjoyable.
I believe there was also a bathroom on the ground floor, but since the two upstairs were more than enough for us, we didn’t try opening the locked door.

Location was great, tucked away and it was nice and quiet. Lovely big house and it was clean.
The cleaner arrived at 10am on check out day and insisted that check our was at 10am, even though our email confirmation clearly stated that checkout was at 11am. This left a bit of a bad taste right at the end of our stay as she made it out like we were liars and said there was signs all over the house to say that - she then proceeded to look at a sign that didn’t have a checkout time on it but it was clear on our email that checkout was at 11. Also there seems to be a rodent of some kind in the downstairs fireplace as we were woken up by it scurrying around and we decided to sleep in the upstairs room the next day (this happens in big houses in the city and didn’t really impact our stay that much). A lot of lightbulbs needing replaced.
