Period House Auldcastle Road Crown

This was a fabulous apartment to stay in! I loved the personal touches on display and the amenities provided by the hosts. It was very comfortable, well appointed and felt quite luxurious! It is located quite a short walk from the main train station, and is close to some really good local cafes and restaurants. The off street parking was a big bonus once I hired a car. It is situated in an area of Inverness characterised by beautiful, grand houses on the hill, with a view back over the city to the hills beyond. Our host was very responsive when I had a minor problem with the wi-fi which was much appreciated.

The property was centrally located and spacious, with three double bedrooms (one with an ensuite). Items like toilet roll, handwash, towels, plus tea and coffee were supplied. The landlord reached out on the first day to check if we needed anything and was readily available for any questions.

It was within walking distance of downtown

It initially smelled like cigarette smoke. A lot of the dishes are chipped. The shower in the main bathroom leaks.
