Charming and spacious property close to town.

Charming, spacious property close to town. Comfortably fit our group of six. We could walk to dinner and explore the town. Host was incredibly helpful and made sure we had everything we needed through our stay.

We had a van that we had to park a couple of blocks away because it didn’t fit in the driveway. Minor inconvenience.

Ardgarry House is a very good place to stay, with plenty of room(s) and space for a family or larger group. The location is very convenient, very close to the city center. Garry is an awesome host, very attentive and full of ideas and recommendations. Car park at the house. We will stay again in Ardgarry House next time we are in Inverness.

Great place for a group to stay to explore the highlands.

Great location, just a short walk from the city centre. The accomodation was spotlessly clean. Garry the owner was incredibly helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. One of our group left their purse behind and it had already been found and posted back to her before we had even made it home. We would definitely stay again.

A lovely place to stay

We were a party of six adults that needed a bunch of separate bedrooms. The house provided multiple rooms, 2 of which were primary suites and the others were smaller. The kitchen was excellently equipped, the living room comfortable, and having a separate washer and dryer was a huge help. We had a rental car and being able to park it right next to the property was very convenient. The host gave us some insights on places in walking distance that were excellent for music and drinks.We used the house as a base from which we went out and explored Inverness and the surrounding areas. I would definitely book it again if traveling to Inverness.

Disappointing and dirty

Location

Very dirty with stained furniture. One of the bedrooms is directly off of the kitchen with no window. This room has an adjacent walk in passageway off of which is a shower room with a very small window high above the sink that is locked with no key. The light switch is in the wardrobe. Chairs in kitchen badly stained. Skirting boards filthy and peeling wallpaper. Garden weeds and rusting filthy garden furniture. Paintwork throughout house dirty. Towels old and thin. We went and bought new pillows and pillowcases, bed throws and mugs to use. The accommodation is drab and dingy more like a house of multiple occupation than a holiday let. It’s very near the town centre. There was a strong smell of fish upstairs at one point. The owner called out an electrician to go into the house while we were out to check the electrics

Just to explain the property its convenient comfortable and cosy place with Parking for 2 cars in heart of Inverness. With super accommodating host. With 6-bedroom and loads of bathroom it provides enough rooms for big group for a perfect visit to Inverness. All the kids very happy with their own room and seating area was very big and comfortable for evening. Since our booking we had contact with host who was super helpful with out of hours arrival time, all the facilities were 10 out of 10. When we left we forget few belongings at the property the host contacted us straight away and arranged things for us so that we can pick it up on our way back from John O Groat. All in all very pleasant stay, highly recommended.

It was a comfortable and lovely visit to Inverness and the whole family enjoyed staying in “Garry’s House”!

It was a charming abode and within walking distance to what we needed (dining places, transportation, etc.)

There were some issues finding things in the kitchen…so many cupboards and drawers that we were confused as to where things were. Labels on the doors or a list of contents and locations of the many items available would be helpful.

Garry is a great host! Location is one of the best and easy to find. Many rooms if traveling with many people. Very clean. Gave many options for food and entertainment. Anwserd any questions promptly and keen that you have a good stay! If any questions he wants to make sure you have what you need. He also checked that you get home ok.

I told Garry of the things we were less happy with and Garry is very keen on rectefying and making sure future guests are happy. All rooms had "pancake pillows" but been told this will be fixed. Also mentioned that in all rooms but one the matresses were firm and Garry mentioned he will be getting matress toppers. Very small things that can be easely fixed. Will still recomend this place to stay

Great in every way house was very confortable and a easy walk into inverness we all mamaged it and our ages ranged from 60 to 70 .The house woyld be beautiful in the summer a spacious outside aera A special mention to Garry for all his support he changed the arrival times and depature times and text me to check there were no problems cheers
