Inverness City Centre Flat

Excellent location, lovely modern decor and clean inside.

A few small adjustments needed... the front door didn't lock (only the latch to shut the door worked), no tea towel to wash up or plug in the sink & the toilet seat missing a fixing so made it tricky going to the toilet. The main one for us was the missing parking permit. This should be taken off the listing as from reading previous reviews the permit has been missing for quite some months now. With 2 small children this was one of the reasons for booking as it advertised parking. We luckily got the last space in the Cathedral car park down the road for £5.20 for 24 hours. Luckily only stayed 1 night so this didn't cost too much. From the listing it says about the outside communal areas so we were already prepared for them but seeing the neighbours property leaking toilet waste from the soil stack and having to step over it each time to get to number 6 was a real shame.

Design and coziness

Everything was great

Rooms were spacious. Kitchen well equipped. Excellent communication when we discovered the parking permit was missing previous visitors had left with it. Conor offered to pay any fine we incurred. Ideal location for walking to main attractions of Inverness. Heating good for our chilly visit.

Our two main concerns were the bed and the shower room. Sadly, the double bed was very soft and not suitable for my health issues. I resorted to the bottom bunk in the spare room which was marginally firmer. The lack of one of the toilet seat fixings made each visit a rocky adventure! The other issue was with the shower, the door of which did not seal properly, and was in a bad state of repair. Finally, the flooring immediately outside of it was cracked and peeling.

Very convenient location to central Inverness. Convenient nearby parking and laundry around the corner.

Double bed was very uncomfortable making it hard to sleep -- basically a foam pad on top of a saggy mattress. Apartment is in a shared courtyard which is in relatively shabby condition. Single bathroom was diminuative.
