River Cottage

Excellent location, very close to tour departure spots, restaurants, and the train station! The layout was so fun and the view of the river was beautiful. It’s very suitable for big travel groups of 5-6 people. I appreciated the full kitchen and the living room area. The top room was nice and private from the rest of the rooms which is cool. Well stocked with towels and linens. Clear instructions for everything. A peaceful accommodation altogether.

The wifi was pretty slow when we arrived. Everyone I was with tried to connect but the speed was not as high as we’d hoped. The shared bathroom shower had great water pressure but had some issues draining fast enough. Lastly, the window in the twin bedroom was open when we checked in, so we saw many bugs around the room. There were also quite a few dead bugs around the windows of the apartment. Other than that, the place was pretty nice!

Location was excellent, so close to everything. The apartment was super comfortable with a lovely view of the river. Having a parking permit was a real bonus.

The wall in the 3rd bedroom needs redecorating.

Great location close to town and overlooking the water. Property was very spacious and ideal for a base to travel around the area.

River Cottage is situated right at the banks of River Ness and just a short stroll away from the city centre. An accommodation with charm and everything we needed. Jane, the owner, was really friendly and accommodating. If back in Inverness, River Cottage would be the place of our choice.
