All round great

Deceptively spacious after you navigate the unusual layout. Plenty towels, comfy beds, superb location and views. Would stay again, preferably for a bit longer so I can enjoy the fabulous communal area a bit more! Great value for a three room / six person stay.

Early check out, and cleaners arrived sharp on 10am, so had to move car to multistorey. Another hour and we could have strolled into town for a coffee and breakfast before our journey home, which would have been nice.

Inexpensive in prime location.

The property had amazing views of River Ness and great location within walking distance to lots of restaurants and tour meet up spots.

The living room was nicely updated, but the place could use a little refresh. The bathrooms were clean but outdated and the whole place could use a coat of paint.

Beautiful cottage by the water

River Cottage is a beautiful place to stay. Location is so close to everything and the view from the front of the cottage overlooks the river and is lovely to just sit and relax.There is a large bedroom upstairs with ensuite and 2 double bedrooms with bathroom on another level. Great for families or group of friends. I would definitely book again. Just a caution for people with mobility problems the stairs might be a bit hard to manage.

Home away from home

Location. A stone's throw away from the Inverness station and town centre. The cottage is just by the river bank. The scenery from the windows is beautiful. Love sitting by the window watching the gulls fly, like dancing in the sky.

We were incompetent in adjusting the thermostat. Our bad, we are from a tropical country, Singapore. 😂

Very nicely decorated, spacious and really well located. The welcome pack was a lovely touch. Loved the river views!

Our bed was not very comfortable. The bathroom extractor didn't work so moisture in the bathroom was an issue.

Delightful stay

Great location. Easy walk to all of downtown Inverness, and along the river. Lots of space and all the things you need for a base in Inverness. View of the river across the street from the living room with large windows and the master bedroom upstairs.

There was an unpleasant smell on the kitchen particularly in the corner near the microwave. We bought a Skye scented candle which effectively masked the smell when lit, but the smell persisted.

Family trip

Check in and check out was very smooth.. Beds were very comfortable,bathroom was very clean..it had all facilities.. Location was superb..

Superb

A great location to visit the lovely city of Inverness. We were visiting for the Loch Ness marathon and it provided a great base and was good value for money.The apartment was well equipped, warm and clean. WiFi, useful info and netflix good additions. Owners responsive to questions. Lovely views from the main bedroom and lounge over the river.

Some of the furniture and decor looks dated but a minor point that didn't really bother us. I would recommend this place.
