Clean, cozy and comfortable.

The rooms were clean and pleasant, with a cozy atmosphere. They provided us with dishwashing liquid and laundry detergent. Recommend you to stay!

Highly Recommended Stay for Inverness

We loved that there were three bedrooms, the space of the property, the location was excellent with a short walk to the town centre, the view in the courtyard was fantastic. This was a very nice place to spend our two nights in Inverness. We were very close to town and we hired a car for our drive through the Highlands and the street parking here was no problem, plenty of spots in the winter time. The accomodation was very good and we would highly recommend this place to anyone.

It would have been nice to have a clothes dryer, given the winter conditions. Drying clothes is a real problem, but that doesn't take anything away for such a great property.

Wonderful little house in a great location.

The location was excellent and it was wonderful to have a full bath for each of the bedrooms. The parking pass was enormously helpful and made the stay very convenient. The train station was just ten minutes away (down a significant flight of stairs) and there were excellent restaurants just a few steps away. It was perfect for us.

I absolutely loved the cottage and would stay there again in a heartbeat. From the moment I walked up the path to the private sun filled courtyard looking at the beautiful view of the surrounds and castle. The rooms were light and beautiful. It was clean and smelt lovely. Great location. The best accommodation I have stayed in during my travels in Scotland.

My husband felt the bed could have been a little more comfortable but I slept really well and the pillows were great. Everything else was perfect.

The perfect property in a great location with lovely views. Lots of parking and only a 10 minute walk down to the centre which makes such a difference. Accessing the cottage was so easy. The cottage was so clean, the rooms were a great size and handy to have a bathroom each.

Disappointing

Nice to have three bedrooms with their own baths and a full kitchen. Location was great, centrally located for the town.

No explanation for how to lock the door - it isn't obvious and we had to wait for an answer before we could leave. Around midday a man knocked on the window who we didn't know and scared us. The next day another man was in the yard we didn't know. There was a spit jar in the ally to get to the house. The downstairs bed was very uncomfortable and gave us back problems, and the sink in that bathroom was too small to actually use.

Some things were not really thought through, a toiletpaper holder for example was missing, and the dining table just barely fit in the living room. These were minor things which weren't really a problem.

A fantastic holiday none of us wanted to leave

Absolutely fantastic location, the view from the garden over the city and of the castle was a beautiful spot for my morning coffee, everything the city has to offer just a few minutes walk from the accommodation which was spacious and clean. We will definitely be coming back

Cosy and comfortable cottage

View Cottage is in a great location just above the town centre with a lovely view. The cottage was ideal for a family of four. It was warm and cosy with spacious bedrooms. It is an easy walk into town, to the river, the Islands and to Girvans for cake! Good communication from the owners.

View Cottage made our visit to Inverness extra special. Everything about our stay was superb!

View Cottage was beautifully laid out and spotlessly clean, and it more than lived up to its name as the view of the city and the far hills was excellent. Communication leading up to our stay was superb. Thank you for that, Blair. The location just above Castle Street put us close to some excellent restaurants including “27”, one recommended by Rick Steves in the Scotland guide book left conveniently in the living room of the cottage. I highly recommend this venue and would definitely stay there again if we’re back in the area.

I couldn’t get the TV to work upstairs, but I know that was due more to user error than any problem with the set or the system. No real complaints whatsoever.

Ideal location for the family with great views of downtown Inverness and castle

The location was great. Downtown is 5 mins from the property. Restaurants are nearby. There were three spacious bedrooms with double beds and three bathrooms in this charming 2-stores cottage. Very comfortable and great view of the castle. House is extremely clean and well maintained.

The living room is small but it was sufficient for our family. We tried to watch World Cup soccer but couldn’t get local sports channels.

Awesome cottage in the heart of Inverness

The cottage was beautiful, it was perfect for our family as we had 4 adults and 2 children. It was walking distance from the centre of town and had a great view of the Inverness castle.
