Second bedroom had no storage. Maybe a tv in the larger front lounge as it seemed a shame to not use this room as the tv was located in the smaller sitting room. Larger fridge.

Comfortable large house by the river near Inverness town centre

The location is good, only 10 minutes walk from the town centre and very close to the River Ness. Having a parking place right outside the house was ideal. Although it's close to a busy road we didn't hear the traffic due to the double glazed windows. We also liked the small patio where we could sit out in the sunshine. The beds were comfortable and we slept well.

There was no information package in the house so we had to ask the agent about some things when we arrived. For example, when the rubbish was collected and how does the recycling system work. The house sometimes felt cold since the central heating only came on for a few hours in the morning and evening. However, when we asked the property agent to turn the heating on remotely they did do that. But we'd have preferred to be able to control the heating ourselves and not had to ask. There was a small fridge but it wasn't big enough for our stay of 6 days with 4 people, and a full size fridge and freezer would have been better. Also there's no tumble drier so it took longer to dry our clothes after washing. The door into the kitchen was low so as I'm tall I had to bend over to avoid bumping my head.

Location is excellent and the house is comfortable, nicely decorated and clean.

The only pet peeve I have is that the coffee machine was not cleaned when we arrived.

De ligging, vlak bij het centrum, aan het water in een doodlopend weggetje. Mooie sfeervolle kamer.

Bedden zijn wat kort voor langen mannen. De koelkast is wat klein voor 5 personen.

Un séjour très confortable et dépaysant.

Nous sommes tombés sous le charme de cette maison au caractère authentique, typiquement écossaise. Cette maison de famille nous a accueillis avec un sapin de Noël 🫶🏻, du confort et de l’espace pour chacun. Notre hôte a été très gentille et prévenante. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre expérience.

Muito bom para grupos

A casa tem uma localização excelente, com bons quartos e boas zonas comuns para grupos/famílias. O que lhe retira a pontuação máxima é apenas o facto de só ter 1 casa de banho completa (com banheira/duche). Tirando esse pequeno detalhe, definitivamente recomendo muito!
