Large comfortable home close to the city centre

Great house for a few days . A few minor issues stopped me giving it 10/10

Comfortable sitting room , spacious and well equipped kitchen , good , quiet location. Good standard of cleanliness, comfortable beds.

Radiator in smaller double bedroom was broken so unable to turn it down/off leaving the room too hot to sleep in. No privacy in kitchen, overlooked by house at the back, could do with some blinds . Pillows were all too soft( personal taste sorry) could do with a few medium to firm ones.

A very nice place;we rented a car and were able to see a lot of Inverness and surrounding areas.

There was a small grocery store about 1/2 block away. The kitchen was lovely and we cooked breakfast and lunch a couple of times. The beds were comfortable and bus transportation was within walking distance. The hosts had left a complete book of information and contacted us several times before we arrived.

The washing machine didn't seem to work, but we realized that we had to plug it in, which entailed moving the washer out from the wall. Other than that, all was fine. There is no dryer, but a couple of drying racks did the trick. There is an apple tree in the back yard. We picked up some of the apples beginning to rot on the ground and cooked them for breakfast!

Culduthel Cottage is a wonderful place for a family or group to stay in Inverness.

The house was very spacious, clean, and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, cookware, etc. The neighborhood was pleasant and quiet. The house has its own parking space in the front and side of the house, which we appreciated. The four nights we stayed at Culduthel Cottage contributed to our delightful stay in Inverness.

We had trouble finding the house using the address supplied in the reservation. I called the host when we couldn't find the house and he stayed on the phone to help us get where we needed to go. Also, the guide who picked us up for a day-trip the next day had trouble finding the house, so something isn't right with the way the address is listed. Or maybe the problem is with google maps, etc.

Great place to stay

Very spacious and modern, loved the bi fold doors. The milk and cerials were a nice touch.

Some of the radiators kept blasting out heat despite each being switched off by the thermostatic valve, this meant that two of the three bedrooms were stifling in the night.

Unexpected Delight

The space and all amenities needed for a relaxed stay. When I booked a 'cottage' I expected something smaller. This was more of a beautiful modern home. Our hosts were easy to communicate with and the home is located in a lovely residential area not too far from town.

Very relaxing and lovely cottage.

It was lovely to learn that milk and cereal were provided along with a welcome gift of wine and shortbread. The cottage is lovely with beautiful windows and garden. The book was very helpful in telling us where the grocery store was located.

One suggestion is to possibly to send a short video demonstrating how to unlock the door along with the documents you sent in the email.

Hidden gem, excellent value - a quite wonderful place!

The location of Culduthel Cottage is ideal: a quiet, attractive and tranquil area on the edge of Inverness - yet only a few minutes drive (or 10 minutes walk) from the centre with all its faciliities. The 'cottage' is in fact a substantial bungalow - completely private, and entirely surrounded by its own spacious garden (with timber decking and summer house). The facilites within the property, which itself is immaculately clean, are excellent and moreover represent extremely good value for money. My booking was on the part of my own family members from Norway and France - who stayed here while touring the Highlands. They have extensive experience of renting accommodation when on holiday (plus rent out properties themselves as hosts) and found both the overall standard here and price remarkable. Definitely recommend

We loved our stay at Culduthal. My husband wanted to do the NC500 as a 70th Birthday gift.Health issues prevented us previously. Originally we were going to do the NC500 using B&B’s. But given our health issues we decided to use Inverness as our base.We highly recommend the Culduthal Bungalow to everyone it sleeps up to 6 people. The facilities are first class. It’s also a great base to do the NC500 from.Health permitting we will definitely be back again.

Calduthel Cottage is a lovely property and the owners are very easy to communicate with. we would certainly recommend it

a stunning property in a quiet area with plenty of parking. The rooms were very well equipped as were the lounge, kitchen and utility. The wet room is massive and would be excellent for anyone who needs room to transfer from a wheelchair to the toilet. The outside area is huge and very well maintained.

Wouldn’t say there was anything we disliked but have given the owners a few comments.

the place was almost perfect. We were so happy that the beds were comfortable, our whole trip before. the kitchen was nice, the garden was beautiful. it worked great for a family

very clean and modern cottage. great big wide screen tv to keeps the boys occupied when it started to rain. lovely garden to relax in when the sun did come out. a very handy spar shop a minute walk across the road with costa machine and small range of provisions. check in very easy and owners always replied quickly to messages
