Convenient and clean

A very convenient location, close to downtown, a quiet neighbourhood, easy parking.

The stairs were quite steep up to the bedrooms, which were a bit of a challenge with heavy suitcases. Speaking of course from an older person's point of view!

Very enjoyable despite the few things we found a bit annoying.

It was warm and friendly. The beds were very comfortable. Instructions were good. It was a very quiet locality despite being very near lots of other houses. Good parking. There is a lovely little garden to the rear. Great fluffy towels!

The shower was above the bath and was very efficient but the water didn’t drain well. It was a fine size for two people of medium height but I would think it would be quite cramped for four and if you were tall you’d be likely to bang your head off the low bedroom ceilings.

Private parking, patio was great and location was terrific. Garage and recycling was convenient.

Headspace in the bedroom for tall people was challenging. Some additional shelving in the bathroom would be helpful.

The kitchen area is very small. It was tough for 2 of them to work in the kitchen together. The space in the living room is limited and looks cramped if one wants to stay with family

Lovely 5 night stay here - was sorry to leave!

Cute little terraced cottage with a private garden out the back. Lots of windows to let natural light in. Not too far form Inverness city centre - around a 15 minute walk along the riverside into town. I had to work remotely for a couple of days whilst we stayed here - made use of the garden for that, plus the large window ledge in the second bedroom. Kitchen well appointed; really appreciated the complimentary bottle of milk, biscuits and chocs that were left for us by the host. Also nice to have a smart TV that I could sign in to Netflix on to keep the kids entertained. Would definitely recommend a stay at The Smiddy!

Family of four adventures through Ness parks, Loch Ness, and Inverness museums and pubs.

The Smiddy is the perfect location to see some of the family attractions in Inverness. It’s very close to fun parks and the riverside. Sandy and Anne were great hosts.

The ground floor is cold with all the heat rising into the bedrooms, so a space heater or wool throws might help make the place a bit more cozy.

El apartamento estaba limpio (excepto algún utensilio de cocina). A corta distancia a pie del centro de Inverness. Las camas son muy cómodas. Tener la plaza de aparcamiento en la puerta es un plus.

Por poner un pero, sólo había dos sobres de café para 4 personas y dos días.
