The Cobblers

Absolutely brilliant little house. You could live here for years. Out of the way in a not so busy area. Shop is literally a minute walk. Heavily impressed by the entire building. We chose this place as our final destination for our Scotland trip (Windermere, Edinburgh, Inveraray, Inverness, Glasgow), and it was an amazing choice, if we go through or near the area again we are staying back here.

There is hardly anything to dislike. There was a huge smart TV in the living room, the other TVs were older and lacked your modern features like screen mirroring which makes travelling so much better. Would be nice to have some grass as the area has lots of stones and slabs.

The Cobblers was a fantastic place to stay to explore Inverness. It is a short walk to the city. The accommodation was clean and comfortable and well equipped.

Unfortunately I cannot rate The Cobblers as after paying I was contacted by the host to say that the accommodation was not available due to an ‘ongoing problem’ not further specified. The host did provide alternative accommodation which was OK but not what I had booked.

We paid for a specific accommodation which then became unavailable at the last minute. Although the host arranged somewhere else for us, we had booked the original months in advance to be close to the start and finish of the Inverness half marathon. The alternative accommodation was OK but just not what we had booked.
