Spacious and peaceful

Beautiful very large room. Nice bathroom with outdoor-style shower. Beautiful views of rice fields and nice breakfast.

There were quite a few ants in the room. But this didn’t bother me too much.

Nice place with helpful hosts

Really nice place! The staff are very friendly and helpful. It’s just a short walk to the center, and if you want to rent a bike, there’s a small local business right in front of the house that rents out good-quality bikes at a fair price. I recommend.

Very clean and spacious rooms

D’Sawah homestay is a great place to stay and explore Amed. It’s super clean, has spacious rooms and amazing views over rice terraces. The staff was very helpful and friendly. It is a 10-20min walk to the the centre where most of the warungs and the beaches are which is absolutely doable. Absolutely perfect value for price. Thanks a lot!

Massive clean room and beautiful view

They serve really nice food at a reasonable price. The room is super spacious with a huge double bed. Nice view over the hill and rice field. Very friendly staff.

Since it is on the main road, the occasional tuned bikes driving by are loud.

I only regret not having spent more days and more meals there!

The view from the room is amazing. The room is huge and spotless. Good bed, good shower, ceiling fan apart from A/C. Water to refill. The warung is excellent as well as the breakfast. Suzie and the staff are great. They arranged bike rental and express laundry for a reasonable price. And Suzie recommended me an amazing massage only a short drive away. If I come back to Amed I won’t doubt about the choice….

Road is a bit noisy during the day and many flies, I guess because of the rain season but nothing to do with the homestay. If they had a pool that would be the perfect paradise I guess…😉

Suci is simply the best! She makes sure her guests feel like at home. The food they prepare in the hotel restaurant is the best in all Amed, with many vegetarian and vegan options. They help you with everything you need. The room is big and the bed is super comfortable. Also the internet is very fast!

The host Susie and her team was lovely. the room was quite spacious and clean. it was looking over to a beautiful green field behind. they were helpful with everything like renting a bike and my batur tour etc. over all it was a nice accommodation. thanks Susie.

A must stay in Amed

A truly lovely homestay in Amed. It’s a little bit out of the “main” area but if you ride a bike that’s no problem. You can walk 10 min down the road to get to the beach (also where the transfer to gili and lombok is) the views from our room were truly breathtaking and the rooms themselves where clean and huge! The breakfast had a good few options, all the food we got there tasted great! Susie was so welcoming and friendly and the rest of the staff were also kind and happy to help. I would definitely stay here again.

Great value for money

Told the staff we would arrive in the middle of the night (between 2am and 3am) but despite of it, there was no one to give us access to the accommodation. Had no mobile in the middle of nowhere. Hopefully someone stopped by and let us call the manager

Nice decor. Great location and view. Big rooms with lots of space. The balcony rooms are wonderful.

The AC was not doing much. Probably no freon left in them. The bathroom has outdoor air vents thus it creates a huge air stream from the entry doors of the room, making a noise all the time. It's great for ventilation and cooling, but the mosquitos.... The breakfast is alright but not great. More options would be nice.

We really enjoyed our stay here! Susie and her Staff are super helpful and lovely and will do everything to make your stay very pleasant. The Food in the Restaurant was also super delicious.

The room, especially at night, was a little bit loud because of the blowing wind. The wind blew through the door and the open bathroom. The AC was only working on the highest fan level.

(if on foot) distance from the beach, because after sunset it was pitch dark and there was no sidewalk. In the room it can get a bit noisy from the main street, as the bathroom has a portion of open roof for ventilation.

Really nice homestay. Spacious and luxurious room, big and comfy bed. Also very clean. There is a really nice view from the balcony. Food in the warung is really tasty including the breakfast! They also arranged the boat to Gili Islands and we were allowed to leave there our motorbike and helmets for the time we were away.
