Recommended for single traveller with easy access to activities

The location is great, within 10 minutes walk you can have acess to a bunch of good cafe and restaurants. And the room is right in front of Mt. Agung, who would not love this view. It even has its own water dispenser inside the room.

The hot water was a little bit unstable, but I've stayed in other homestays in Amed, at least this one has hot water!

The unreal view of Mt Agung.

Only 2 pillows were provided for the 2 of us. No blanket nor hairdryer. For a homestay, the hosts seemed rather indifferent, didn't really ask whether we were having a good stay. When we asked for a hairdryer one night, we were told not to trouble them after 10pm, which was understandable but still felt a tad cold...

Peaceful stay in Amed

Absolutely fell in love with Amed. Very blessed and thankful I made this side trip before heading to Ubud. This homestay was perfect, perfect view, beautiful family, and very thankful it was in a great location right beside a coffee shop too heading out of town. Very close shuttle service back to the main town areas. And beautiful beautiful views of the mountains and rice paddy fields. Grateful to also hire a scooter directly from the homestay making it convenient for me. The room had a kitchen and fresh water for me watch was super ideal. Clean and tidy. Highly recommend and would stay there again!

Great hosts, good location.

Our hosts were wonderful. Location was good with an exceptional view of Mt.Agung. Not too far of a walk to the beach area with all sorts of cafe’s, shops and more accomodation and bars. Near by us was an exceptional cafe called St.Bernards.

The seats on the balcony were a bit hard to sit on.

Location is great, view is amazing and family/hosts are incredibly helpful, friendly and always there if you need something. Breakfast is also very yummy. I would definitely stay here again!

Enjoyed our stay

Beautiful view on the mount. Loved the location, calm but still near to the beach and everything you nead. Couple of good cafes nearby. Hosts very friendly and helping. It’s possible to do laundary and rent a scooter. Also Wayan the driver was super, picked us up from Munduk and then dropped in Ubud even at short notice (as we know now Grab and Gojek don’t operate in Amed). Breakfast was good.

Wifi was unstable. Only sheet, no blanket.

Amazing view of Mount Agung from our room in first floor. Room was found to be perfect for our short stay.

The toilet was clean but had a smell. Also, had to leave our rented car (Toyota Avanza) on the street as there is no parking in the property.

fantastic view but WiFi has to be fixed

- breathtaking view from the room - location is a bit further out from the Main Street but there are 2 western type cafes in a walking distance, some little stores where you can buy snacks - spacious clean room with the kitchen corner

- WiFi didn’t work well (especially in the evenings), I stayed on the first floor so I almost didn’t have the signal if I lay on my bed

Beautiful view of Mt Agung all day long.

It was so nice to arrive at this place after long journey and find this magnificent view and very clean and nice room. The view is gorgeous even from the ground floor. The owner, Komang is so helpful and nice. Banana.

The view was amazing, the staff was help and nice (we could rent everything we wanted directly from the property [including laundry, motorbike, scuba gear, fast boat tickets, etc.]), the room was large and the water pressure was fantastic. The wifi also works quite well!

Comfortable, easygoing with a beautiful view!

We got a warm welcome from Komang which immediately made us happy. He explained everything we needed to know about the room, the area and arranged us boat tickets to Gili for a good price. Everything at an easy pace, there was no rush. The room had a great view, big and clean. We really enjoyed our breakfast as well! We had a really comfortable time in Amed and wished we had more time to stay there longer!

Very short stay at Amed, nice

The staff help us to obtain boat tickets, thank you for that. Also he was welcoming and help us with our questions about Amed.

As a person not driving motorbike it's can be a little long to walk to the animated part of Amed, if you drive a motorbike for rent in that case no problem.

Good

This homestay is excellent simply for the perfect vantage of Mt Agung. We really enjoyed being able to watch the sunrise and listen to all the birds, and the different sounds as the villages woke up. The homestay is very clean and comfortable, but the room did have an old smell of cigarettes. The homestay is close enough to Amed village, and our host was super gracious in giving us a ride up there because we arrived after dark. However, getting taxis is near impossible and walking is not really feasible since there aren't sidewalks and there are lots of dogs on Bali.

forget Heavens Gate: best view in the world directly from your balcony!

We had a perfect stay in this amazing place! Loved our really helpful owners, the big room with strong Wifi was absolutely clean. But the best is - of cause - the best view on Mt. Agung. In the morning, you can get a very cheap breakfast directly on the balkony with a million-dollar-view on the vulcano! would love to have stayed a few days longer, but the accomondation was fully booked. Congratulation for everyone who books this small diamond in Amed! We have also rent a small scooter for an absolutely OK price and got help when we needed a driver to our next hotel. THANK YOU SO MUCH for this amazing experience!

Amazing stay, breathtaking view

the view is amazing! it takes the cake. the property is super clean and the hosts are really wonderful. though the view is of Agung and the rice fields, the beach is super close as well. very close to the city Center area

very little negative points in this property. only tiny thing was the shower head not working properly and sometimes it can get a little bit noisy because of the road close by but honestly, the positives far outweigh the negative
