Wonderful place to stay, a true country guesthouse. Easy 10 minute walk from Ambleside. The mountain view from my room was stunning, watching the evening sun over the Fairfield Horseshoe. So peaceful, the only noises you'll hear are sheep and birds. Highly recommended.

This is a 5 star BnB, set in beautiful gardens and farming land, very quiet (except for the occasional RAF trainer jets during the day) and elegantly appointed. Close enough to town but away from the madding crowd!
Of our 4 weeks travel thus far, this has been the standout.

Full breakfast. Views and property out of a storybook. Amazing walk into an amazing town (Ambleside). Absolutely everything we hoped it would be and more.

We loved our stay here.
The place was spotless, the breakfast was delicious , the proprietors were friendly and all in all Crow How house was a brilliant choice to stay .
