Comfortable stay in lovely location
Beautiful property in perfect location , we had a downstairs room which was lovely and bright with lots of storage . Shower was great and beds very comfortable. Loved that we had tea and coffee in room . Breakfast was fabulous and the staff were really attentive. Would highly recommend

Great stay in good location but would not return in winter.
Property was centrally located which was good. Reasonable price for NYE. Staff very friendly and helpful.
The room we were in was very cold. Hearing was turned off at night which left the room freezing overnight until the heating was turned back on in the morning. Although we had electric heater in the room we had to give this to friends next door whose room was even colder than ours. Extra blanket or hot water bottle would have helped. Parking extremely limited which meant we had to pay to park in long stay car park at £12 per day.

A great place to stay in Ambleside
Our second stay at the Gables and this time took our daughter and partner. Accommodation is comfortable and clean and an excellent breakfast. Dietary restrictions are catered for well. It’s also a great location and Rohan and staff are welcoming and friendly.
