Lovely friendly welcome, great location to the town and transport and really comfortable bed.
Shower isn’t very powerful.

A handy short walk into town, free off-road parking. A nice room/en suite, spotlessly clean and well-provisioned, and a comfy bed. Adie and Mandy were great hosts, I really enjoyed chatting with them and lingered to do so. Breakfast fully deserves the great reviews elsewhere on here (I enjoyed Adie describing a full English as an ‘Ambleside Salad), and I was provided with a decent packed lunch at the price of a very average shop ‘meal deal’. All at the most competitive price on this site, and with flexible access out of hours. This was a great experience with some lovely people, and I won’t bother looking any further on my next trip to the Lakes. Highly recommended

Well situated in town centre and close to many walks from the doorstep. Room was clean and comfortable. Owners are a lovely couple, nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast was great

Great location, free parking, spotlessly clean and lovely breakfast. The hosts Mandy and Adie were really helpful and friendly
We stayed in room 2 which was described as a standard double, it was adequate for us, but a tad on the small size
