Beautiful setting and within easy walking distance from Ambleside. Beautiful gardens and lots of places to sit outside. Nice spacious room and comfortable bed. But the highlight of our stay was the excellent breakfast; which was perfect in every way.

A lovely country guesthouse in a good location away from the busy town. Our room was huge and beautiful and the bathroom amazing. Room 4 . I was so happy with how quiet the room was and how comfortable. There are a few easy walks nearby that allow you to keep away from the main road. The nicest trail was near the stepping stones and led all the way to near the lake. It is actually an access road but every one was walking .. and very few cars. Breakfast was excellent too.

Location lovely in a quiet location 15-20 mins walk outside of Ambleside. Modern bedroom/bathroom. Breakfast great. Staff very friendly. Gorgeous gardens to walk around.

Great location with great views. Very clean and space. Very uptodate furniture, fittings, bathrooms and bed. Very warm welcome. Only 20 minutes , nice walk, to Ambleside. I certainly would stay here again.
