Church bells are loud in the morning and go on a long time. Breakfast wasn’t the most nutritious, no fruit, just packaged items. Coffee was not good. Bed uncomfortable and shower was awful no drainage. Room was quite big, clean and hotel is near everything. Very close to train, ideal location

I really wanted to like this property. It's a 20 minute walk from the train station, (repack your bags so that you're only carrying as much as you'll need in Venice). I paid for left luggage at a hotel near the train station, for two quite small bags, so that I only used a small backpack for my two night stay. It's murder trying to lug suitcases up and down the many, many canal bridge stairs. The room was fine. Here's the problem.... the bathroom has no towel bars. None. So taking a shower at night means that the towels will be wet in the morning. The only place to hang towels is over the shower doors. The shower is good, btw. And, there is no shelf in the shower which makes it impossible to hold shampoo, or soap and use the shower. It's necessary to have even a tiny shelf to set down the shampoo. The room air conditioning is good, but I needed to turn it off each night at about 3am. I got no sleep with it on, even with earplugs. Breakfast begins at 8:30 which, in summer, means it's already hot outside. Had I known about the 8:30 start, I would have booked elsewhere. However, on the day I left, the manager was kind enough to let me start breakfast about 15 minutes early so that I could eat something before an 8 hour train ride. All in all... I won't stay again. I really like the staff and the location. But the lack of towel bars, no shelf in the shower, the somewhat loud a/c, and the late breakfast are a no, for me. I wish I could give it 5 stars.

The property was clean. The staff was very nice, especially the guy serving breakfast & coffee. The price is worth it and you are well situated. Breakfast is simply pasteries and coffee, no protein or fruits. Unfortunately, I have to say one bad thing and it's that the bed was hard, and you felt the springs in the mattress.

This was the perfect location; out of busy Venice and off in a quiet street. Everything was just a few minutes walk away & close to the vaporetto (water taxi). The owners were easy to communicate with & quick to respond to messages. The breakfast was simple yet delicious, especially the warm croissants & cappuccinos made fresh! I highly Re recommend Ca’ Turrelli!

The big problem with this bed and "breakfast" is the misrepresentation of their breakfast. It is not a buffet, at all. It's just a basic continental breakfast. Nothing wrong with that, if that's what you expect. But if you choose a hotel thinking there's going to be a breakfast buffet and then you don't even get cheese for breakfast, it's upsetting. It's weird to me they would so blatantly misrepresent their breakfast. Ironically, this is a "Bed and Breakfast". Everything else, I liked: spacious bedroom and bathroom, decent WiFi, kind staff, great location (if, like me, you prefer not to be in the center of tourist action).

Hotel is well located, three water bus stations are near and walking distance to many tourist attractions. Tha attention was great, a little difficulty in that the lady doesnt speak english or spanish but we could understood each other. Room and bathroom are big. Our bed cushion was kind of old with the feeling of some holes.

Facilitiess as a B&B were good and breakfast was acceptable. The issue was the owner can only speak Russia and Italian and so there was problem in communication and so a mark down in service. Otherwise it was quite good but not as good value for money as the others. Locationwise was good as it was near all facitiies and tourist attractions.

Great people at the BB however. They had a leak on the AC and we had to put towels on the floor and it didn’t cool the room enough but the staff were super nice and great to us. Allowed us to keep ours bags there while we shopped and were able to check in, we arrived really early before check in time. The place is far from the main streets in the area of the main plaza.

Internet was not working. Also please add some more items to the breakfast, fruits and boiled eggs, and be generous. Overall we loved the place and will surely recommend to others. Our train to Milan was at 6 pm. We were able to leave our bags - they gave us keys to access. That was a lot of help. Room and bathrooms were nice, clean and with the right amenities.

Amazing location. I can't recommend this B&B or staying in Dorsoduro highly enough. Staff is really nice, rooms are comfortable. Breakfast was fair - mostly the same each day, but - again - I highly recommend Ca'Turelli.

Warm welcome, comfortable room & good facilities; simple continental breakfast provided - great coffee. Many excellent places for lunch/dinner nearby (all budgets); easy access to all Vaporetto lines. Lovely to be able to hear bells of Salute.

The bed and breakfast is a cheaper option in the expensive, beautiful city of Venice. Located a 15 minute walk from the bus terminal drop off point from Treviso Airport and around 15 minutes to San Marco Square. The room was clean and a decent size. The bed was a little hard and it’s a shame the host couldn’t have let us have an early breakfast the final morning seeing as we were leaving early and she was up and setting up anyway.

We were there for three days during early October. We arrived about 7pm on Friday and the owner was not there. A lady with little English let us in. The room is next to one canal. There were about 7 to 8 Mosquitos flying around when we walked in. We asked her and it took a while for her to understand. She offered something that can be plugged into power socket. But it was broken. During the night we could hear the mosquitos circled around and had to get up a couple of times to try to kill them. It is hard due to high ceiling. In the morning we woke up and smelt the terrible cooking smell. We informed the lady about the mosquito problems and then left. After we came back at 6:30pm, nobody was there and the thing used for mosquitoes had not been changed. Not happy with what happened, I gave sad face when returned the email sent by Expedia. Worried about another bad night of sleep, we sent the message to the owner and explained our concern. Finally we got a good one. We didn’t meet the owner until the night before we left. He actually ask me why sad face. We expected to meet our host when we arrived and be offered some information about the city so we can plan our days; Wifi does not work inside the room as well as mosquito problems. During the conversation, my husband tried to find the kettle. The owner actually told my husband off, said it was private property and he was not supposed to look around! For 125 euro a night, it is very expensive comparing to what they offered.
