The room was okay. This was a remodel of an older hotel. The lobby was nice, the exterior was nice, but the room had been smoked in the past, and once that is baked into the walls and carpets, it never comes out. I can always tell because I’m very sensitive to cigarette smoke. The caulk job in the bathroom left some to be desired. The check-in gent was very kind and efficient. Parking costs 17 pounds for a night and there’s plenty of it. Breakfast was pretty typical of the Hilton genre, which is solid.

Nice hotel conveniently placed for the NEC, Birmingham Airport, M6 and M42. Friendly staff and the hotel room was clean plus breakfast was included. The only downside was parking was £15 otherwise couldn’t fault it tbf.
