Overall comfortable hotel, very well located for bpPulse and the NEC

Lovely choice at breakfast. Room was spacious and bed comfortable, all staff were friendly and helpful.

Parking charges were extortionate. Registered the car at reception to obtain the discount but the first time of removing the car after a few hours cost £8.50 ( I think that was about 5hrs) but I don’t think I received a discount for the overnight charge which was £41. I’d recommend the hotel but the parking charges would make me think twice.

Parking is at E5 (NEC), which is quite a trek too/from the hotel when handling luggage, and especially if you’ve left something in the car. There was an annoying flickering light beneath our double bed, which couldn’t be switched. Size of duvet was too small, and it’s tog too light.

FUNKY if young but off putting for grown ups

Close to The Hall I was in at NEC , the PIR lighting under bed great for us decrepit old folk who get up for the loo at night

Wasn't particularly clean and more suited to youngsters quirky bar interesting but not my thing decent breakfast but again the whole communal tables and breakfast bar not really what your looking for at our age hence didn't eat there during our stay 4 night stay opting for the Italian across the pond 2 nights and the premier in with its welcoming restaurant to nights

No working toilet facilities, but the stay was central.

Very central for us and our young family to attend an event in the NEC. Presentation of the rooms were great, plenty of space and setup to accommodate us.

Could be cleaner and also we had no toilet facilities!! First night we went to the reception and told them that the flush was broken, went to our event and came back to it temporarily being fixed, but it broke again. It was very late at night so did not revisit reception. Informed them in the morning that we had no working toilet facilities, they weren’t at all bothered. Disappointing. Apart from this issue, the stay was good.

Location is perfect for the NEC functions. Good food and drinks, the rooms are modern and comfortable.

Fine!

Staff were helpful and charming, the hotel had a good buzz, the room was very quiet and the bed comfortable. The shower was strong and hot and we had mugs for tea in our rooms. Great!

It should have been a great location but the parking was so far away, it wasn't cheap (even with discount) and we had to move back and forth between car parks during the duration of our trade show.

Fantastic, funky, fun hotel with a great crew

Great fun and well designed, this hotel feels like a party bar but it has all the nooks and sockets for working. Staff are superb, each one has a lovely temperament and a willing to make your welcome and stay go smoothly. Rooms are compact but cosy and have everything you need. Laundry room on each floor is a good space. For us, the vegan options on the food menu were plentiful and food was consistently good having had the opportunity to try most things after our exhibition during our four night stay.

It's a bit of stress getting in and out with a vehicle for dropping off luggage and of course the hotel parking is a 10 minute walk away. This walk around the lake is charming in good weather but horrendous in the rain, so when you are working and have a small truck it's all about logistics and timing.

Location was perfect, room was quiet and well equity, breakfast was good choice.

Breakfast confusion with where things were (plates) and when small containers being restocked repeatedly because of busy breakfast it slowed things down considerably. Minor issue though.

After the awful first night I was moved to a different room, far from the building works. The room was clean a different comfortable with great facilities. I particularly liked the low sensor light that came on if you went to the bathroom in the night. The breakfast was good with a great selection

My first evening was awful and I was close to asking for a refund and moving to a different hotel. I was subjected to the noise of a worksite directly above me. Drilling and hammering. Even with ear plugs in it was horrendous. I spoke to reception and was only told, we're sorry, but we have roof works going on!

Excellent Location for Nec , generally good with the hotel. Breakfast fine but very hectic .

Major Air conditioning broken fan noise which meant it could not be used. Opened the window due to the high ambient heat and could not sleep for late night and very early noise . Reception in morning said don’t worry about it !!! 🤷. Clearly a known problem but a problem for guests . Worst hotel sleep I can remember.

It was ideal for our long weekend. Breakfast good maybe not as much choice as Hilton.

It was a bit different normally stay at Hilton when at NEC but Moxy had a more relaxed fun atmosphere. Very handy for main NEC entrance.

We couldn’t remove plug to get bathroom sink to drain but having reported it on the way to breakfast it was fixed by the time we returned to the room after breakfast.
