Very short stay, met my needs

Helen the receptionist was amazing and couldn’t been more helpful and kind. She went out of her way to ensure my stay was comfortable. Very clean functional room

We were aware hotel public areas were undergoing refurb ,

It was very close to the BP Pulse arena which was convenient as we were attending an event.

There was a lot of construction which meant some areas were inaccessible, messy and disruptive. We couldn’t access our room via the lift and had to take the stairs, which is fine as we could do so, but it was not suitable for those with mobility problems. The room also lacked a few facilities; no spare pillows, lack of toilet roll, tv not secure to the wall, no rail to hang the towels on, some light switches didn’t work. Nothing that required attention at the time, but feedback to consider.

Poor room, unhelpful staff and horrible nights stay

Great breakfast and very helpful staff in restaurant

Room was over a generator that kept us awake all night, reception denied this and didn’t understand what the issue was. Room was incredibly hot and temp could not be turned down. Staff were very unhelpful

Close to everything I needed

Awful bed, Lumpy pillows, broken toilet lid, hair in my sink, stained carpet. Paid £108 for the 1 night stay on my own, tv not even in line with the bed. ALSO I could spit more pressure than the tap. The shower was absolutely dreadful. Couldn’t even wash my hair in that drip water shower. Smears on the mirror. It was never ending. I couldn’t move rooms as once I arrived I had less than 30 mins to get ready to leave and when I got back I was too tired to even go talk to someone about the room. So I did this on departure.

Comfortable room, but booked the wrong Ibis not as close to the Airport as I expected.

The room it self wax clean, bed was comfortable.

Located in the middle of industrial units. Didn’t feel safe walking too and from location as a little off track. Thought it was closer to the Airport. They are in the middle of a refurb so a lot of dust and renovation vístanle in the corridors.

Arrived at 18.00 hours on 8.1.26 greeted by a friendly polite young man the same when we left at 5am on 9.1.26 checked out by a lovely female Staff member 5 mins walk to airport metro link which run every few mins

Walking distance to the airport shuttle. The industrial estate you have to walk through to get to and from the hotel needs a few more street lights apart from that it was all good

Overall would stay again

Super close to the NEC buildings. Easy to get to from main motorways. Nice food (bar meals and breakfast buffet). Room was recently refurbished.

Staff weren’t overly friendly, no one was rude but I felt their customer service could be improved. No mini fridge in room due to partial refurbishment which was understandable but would have appreciated being informed beforehand. Myself and my 11 year old daughter ate in the bar at around 7pm. There were a small group of men nearby who were swearing constantly and loudly. Other diners were looking on obviously thinking the same as me. None of the staff there made any attempt to address this, they left this carry on the entire time we were there. I didn’t feel comfortable to confront them or speak to staff given the close proximity. I was disappointed that it ruined our experience that night.

Bit annoying with the bed situation

Staff. Booked a family room for 4 people. Reception were explaining the room and said 3 beds in room, I said well there’s 4 of us and said where is the 4th person going to sleep? He actually said the words - that’s your problem. Got to room, there’s a sofa bed too. Go back to reception and ask for bedding, he doesn’t believe there is a sofa bed and takes ages to confirm. Eventually brings some to us. Very unnecessary and quite rude.

Perfect hotel if visiting the NEC for a show.

Location could not have been better for visiting the NEC. Literally a 5 minute walk from the front of the hotel. Easy to get to the hotel and parking right outside. Had both dinner and breakfast in the hotel and both were excellent even though the restaurant very busy with people staying for the Classic Car Show. Staff very friendly and helpful.

The fold out sofa bed that I used in our family room wasn't the most comfortable I've ever slept in and did creak a bit but still managed a good night's sleep so it came have been too bad!

Disappointing and unclean rooms.

Location was close to the NEC and Airport which we loved. Staff were so lovely and really helpful. Foyer is clean and tidy. Bright and spacious.

Room was so unclean. Liquid has previously been spilled down walls and not cleans. Carpet all stains everywhere which I found repulsive. To park at the hotel is an additional £15 per day at the discounted rate which is shocking. The second bed in the room, a fold up sofa bed was these most uncomfortable experience ever!!! The mattress is only fit for the bin. Genuinely!
