Mainly convenience of location next to terminal. The room was clean but clearly a budget hotel at a more than budget price

Reception way too small and congested

Excellent location with an easy walk from Car Park 4 to the hotel, and then just a short walk to departures the following morning. We were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade from the Ibis to the Novotel next door, which was a lovely touch. The welcome from reception was excellent, with plenty of helpful information provided on arrival. When we mentioned we’d like an evening meal, we were directed straight to the restaurant team to book a table so we could relax in our room or the bar until it was time to eat. The room had everything we needed, was comfortable, with excellent blackout curtains and soundproofing, making for a great night’s sleep before an early flight. The restaurant staff were equally friendly and welcoming, and our evening meal was delicious. We checked out at 5am for our flight, so didn’t have breakfast or see many staff that morning, but our overall experience was excellent.

Very little to fault. It was an excellent hotel! The only minor point was that when we asked for mayonnaise with our meal, both mayonnaise and ketchup were automatically brought over - each time - per person! We only needed the mayonnaise, so it felt like a small unnecessary waste, although we’ll know to mention this next time.
