Comfy rooms and good food in a perfect location.

Friendly staff. We had a maintenance problem when we first arrived and were moved promptly with good humour. Excellent fish and chips dinner, piping hot and served with a smile. Perfect location for airport departures.

We hadn’t the requested twin room available. It was late, though and the staff tried to compensate us by giving us a bigger room.

Great staff and great food

The staff were amazing, all really helpful and polite. Was good location for being so close to the airport as well. Food and atmosphere was also great.

There was a smell of sewage coming from the bathroom every now and again. Cashless is a problem, would much prefer to have the option.

If you just want a no-fluff, but clean and friendly hotel, this is a very good option.

Staff was super nice, not fake, not rude, just genuinely wanting to help. Ibis if you are reading this give them a raise. Breakfast was great continental + english, especially the mushrooms. Room was okay size, clean sheets, towels and bathroom, but the curtain was a bit stained and dirty, kind of a common in this price range, so I let this go.

Maybe it’s an english thing, but no toilet brush. No slippers available, not even for a fee.

Excellent for my short trip had everything I needed.

Staff vey helpful and friendly at every interaction. I felt safe travelling alone and very happy in my room. The restaurant staff in the evening were lovely and the food was very good.

I always like a biscuit in my room! Pillows were a bit hard.

Ideal for an early flight

Staff were very friendly and welcoming, everyone we encountered genuinely seemed to be in a good mood, which is often not the case in budget hotels! The atmosphere in the bar/ restaurant was good. The room was basic, as expected, but was comfortable and had all we needed. Excellent access to departures for early flight.

Smokers and non smokers would benefit if the smoking area can be sheltered. Some quality coffee in the rooms would be hugely appreciated, Nescafé instant is so outdated. The Lyon’s coffee bags are great (hint hint) A few more bathroom products and clothes hangers would be appreciated but not a dealbreaker

Excellent stay will continue to use this hotel whenever we fly from Birmingham

We’ve stayed before and it’s excellent if you’ve an early flight - just a short walk from the airport - really welcoming staff we only manage a evening meal because we leave at 3.00am but have always enjoyed the food in the restaurant Here’s to our next stay

Fantastic for overnight stay

So close to the airport, unfortunately my flight got cancelled, I stayed till 12-00 trying to sort it out , then went home . It was ideal for the early flight that never happened

Location was perfect for me as I travel alone and it’s very near to departures, so not too far for me to drag s suitcase. Didn’t experience breakfast as my flight was leaving T 6.30am.

A comfortable stay which allowed me to sleep a little longer despite a 7am flight!

I liked that the hotel was only 3 mins from departures but was still modern and comfortable and the room was clean and cosy.

The communal areas were starting to look a little dated and dinner was expensive for what I got.

On arrival, my key did not work to the lift and I didn’t find the staff particularly helpful. Also, on first appearance, the carpets and hallways looked very tired and quite dirty. Other than the bar area, I do not think you get a very good impression.
