Excellent for family ⅘

Excellent hospitality for young family. The male staff (apology for not asking his name) who was on duty 15/2/26 evening was extremely helpful and friendly. Our children enjoyed the swimming pool and the spa is excellent for adults. Breakfast buffet was excellent.

Large hotel in great location for the Arena. Had a very comfortable stay for one night. Breakfast was good and staff friendly.

The hotel is in need of a bit of an update in my opinion. The bathroom in our room especially.

Location excellent for concert

Three people sharing room. Only facilities in room were for 2 people ( 2 cups , 2 tea spoons 2 waters) Room not actually large enough to fit double bed + sofa bed. Person using sofa bed had no way to get to bed without clambering over bed. Really not suitable for anyone with mobility problems.

Been here 20+ times and this is probably the best stay

The new restaurant is a big plus even though the service is not so great, selections and food are good. Rooms and lobby is a bit nicer. Gym now open 24hr. Bar was buzzy which is why I come.

Coffee lines at breakfast and check in (both can be fixed). Bit more fresh veg and fish at breakfast. Some actually fresh juices? Water valve on the shower is super quirky and difficult. For the love of all that is holy please provide a toilet brush. I feel for your cleaning staff.

Nice enough stay

The room was nice, comfortable bed. Perfect location for where we needed to be. Really liked the decor and the staff were nice and friendly.

We had that issue where flushing the toilet meant the water in the shower went piping hot and wouldn't cool down at all (I suppose my own fault but the fact that it never cooled down was frustrating). There were some discoloured marks on the pillows. The breakfast was mostly okay but the chicken sausages were dry and gritty and the hash browns were dry and lacked flavour (salt didn't bring it back)

Nice. Hot water temp is dangerous.

Location and staff were good. The only reason that I did not rate higher is that we really were only there to sleep and we did not use any facilities other than check in and breakfast.

Your water temperature needs urgent review. Your hot water temps far exceed what is safe. The hot taps were too high, which resulted in showers and taps being very hard to balance. I was staying with my son who was nearly burnt on multiple occasions. Get your plumber to check the boiler system.

Always a great stay

It was and always it a nice and ideal place to stay for the NEC bed are comfortable and it’s always clean and the food is lovely. The service is excellent.

There was no heating as there was a problem with the system. Was quick though to give us a portable heater

Good location good breakfast fix the heating extortionate parking

Very close to the Nec we stayed to attend an event here and could walk to it from the hotel. Breakfast was very good had a large selection and was replenished quickly by staff. Room was clean shower had good pressure. Nice comfy bed. Tea and coffee facilities and hairdryer appreciated. Friendly helpful staff

At one point it was colder in the room than outside. The windows weren’t sealed and were leaking cold air into the room badly. There was no heating in the room and the air conditioning only blow cold air . This was a big downfall as it made it hard to sleep. Parking charges for two nights seemed a bit extreme . I don’t think you should have to pay overnight to stay in a hotel obviously your staying overnight if your staying at the hotel. Perhaps just charges for people who use the parking but not staying at the hotel.

Much improved Hotel, Very nice

Big improvements over last year, bar staff in particular so much better, and all staff very friendly . Still some issues with the casual dining , cold food, staff unable to communicate, and clearly a floor dining manager much needed, observing & checking, no sign of one.

It didnt meet expectations room service didnt come the second day as requested the shower was faulty and woulf burn you one second and the next incriment it was freezing the key cards stopped working twice all 4 cards and there was a different excuse each time

Close to nec , great pool and bar area

Check in took about 40mins huge queue. Pool had to be booked in a time slot which I knew and did prior to arriving , however we missed most of it because of the queue in the reception . One of our family room beds was a sofa bed

Location great for what we needed but the worst night’s sleep

Location was great, staff very helpful and the beds were comfy.

Rooms becoming dated, rattling aircon, the vent in the bathroom had water running down the wall. Walls incredible thin. Other guests because loud and obnoxious slamming doors shouting in corridors all night long.
