A lot less stress.

Close to the airport. Very good breakfast. Couldn’t hear planes as much as I thought I would.

Yea coffee making facility’s was on floor 1. Not kettle in the room. When I got there, all the cups had gone so I could have a drink.

we were upgraded from booking budget IBIS but .............

I think the price for one night in even in the upgrade facility was excessive, but I accepted that when I booked. However, we felt like we were in a transit camp. Reception 'processed' us rather than welcoming us. Hotels like this where guests probably only stay one night at a time need to pay even more attention to customer service and maintenance, not less! For a one night stay there is no time to complain or have faults fixed when leaving early next morning. So, in our room, the smell from the sink waste was horrendous, even with the plug in. I find it unbelievable that the routine servicing of rooms failed to identify this and fix it before the next unsuspecting guests turned up. On top of that the bed sheets and duvet cover seem to have been thrown together. Altogether, not a good experience for spending £183 plus dinner for one night stay. Not very impressed, I'm afraid.

Horribly overpriced. A rip off weekend, seemingly due to conference demand. Nasty cramped room. Noise. A weird plumbing noise all night. Plus thin walls.

Good location, good breakfast. Room clean. Fairly quiet

Very basic tiny room. Only 2 thick pillows suppled - I used a rolled up towel. Everything is a cheaply done as possible. Tiny shower and loo, no chair or table. It made a TravelLodge look a palace.

Cheap and cheerful

It was a cheap night stay before my holiday. Don't expect fancy rooms, but for a quick sleep it does what it says on the tin. Amazingly close to the terminal so no extra charge for taxi etc. Lovely hotel. Had food also. A little expensive for what it was, but tasty and plenty for everyone

Toilet kept filling up overnight, only a small issue, but mentioned to reception who were very bored and said they would report to whoever. Didn't want someone else to have that problem the following night.

Clean good value hotel close to Birmingham Airport

The hotel was located a two minute walk from Birmingham Airport Terminal. We checked in on-line before we arrived which meant that everything was ready for us. The room although basic, was very clean and had everything that we needed for our overnight stay. There was unlimited free tea and coffee provided on the first floor. The restaurant was open early, 5pm which meant that we could get a nice meal and then prepare for a very early start.The choice on the restaurant menu was good and the food was delivered quickly by very friendly and helpful staff. We enjoyed our meal. The room was very good value for money. We have stayed many times at the Ibis and will continue to do so when we travel from Birmingham Airport.

A Bit Too Budget

Location - so convenient for airport passengers. Friendly staff everywhere - excellent. Cleanliness. Warmth.

No kettle or hairdryer in room - a bit too "budget". Keycard for room failed on check-in, so had to go all the way back to reception to renew it - even with the lift, 8 floors with luggage at age 75 was tiresome, but reception staff lovely.and helpful.

Location right by airport buildings. Ease for drop off taxi etc. Check in and out was easy and did not take that long.

Everybody was having trouble with keys activating lift Access and we needed key resetting at front desk to Access our room. After reading reviews about being a budget hotel and lack of power Points we had a total of 3 which was excellent.

Poor and uncomfortable stay..but the only redeeming factor is it's location near the airport

Food was fantastic and location near to the airport was incredibly convenient

Gave me a broken and non functional baby cot. No water..no complementary water..no toiletries like brush or tooth paste. I had to go and ask at the reception to receive one. The staff didn't exchange any pleasantries, they seemed unlikeable and annoyed to do their job. I paid £104 for a freaking night. It's not a budget price..it's a premium price and I think expected premium experience.
