I booked a one night, advanced booking, stay at the Ibis Budget hotel, by Birmingham Airport, in September at a cost of just under £80. The hotel is conveniently located in front of the airportbeing a mere five minutes walk. The room was basic but clean. There was adequate lighting and a view towards the airport where I could watch planes taking off in the morning. Everything worked and the bed was comfortable. The staff were friendly, professional and able to answer my queries. Being a budget room, refreshments were availalble on the first floor (I was on the 7th) and in good supply. I have always used Ibis for my overnight stays whilst returning to BHX from my oversea holiday destinations. James
