Guest Inn Alfama IV Apartment

This apartment is cute and clean but it is small with little privacy. It is essentially a studio with a loft. The bedroom on the main floor is adjacent to the kitchen with no door that closes in between. It is smaller than the pictures look. Annoyingly, you must send the management company your credit card information prior to getting check in instructions in case a security deposit is needed. I stayed in two other places in Portugal using two other management companies and neither asked for this information. There are also a lot of stairs without an elevator (mentioned in the ad but should be reiterated). There is no way that my healthy 75 year old Mom would have been able to carry a suitcase up the stairs without help. I would probably stay here again if it were just two people, but probably not with 4 people and one small bathroom.

Great location. Clean. Uploading of photos at check in and out was a pain. Not much privacy. Nice ac!

The location of this VRBO was perfect for us. We enjoyed the Fado across the street, and hearing the performance from our balcony.

The property was as described and had all that we needed for our stay. The location was wonderful and convenient to many restaurants, shops, the squares, river front and notable sites.
