Property was neat! Close walking distance to many things, clean, basic kitchen, comfortable beds.
Check in was NOT smooth, but this was an expedia issue.

Staying with Villa Santa Marinha was one of the best decisions I made. I had a terrible experience with an Airbnb and decided to book a studio.
The cleanliness and vibe that I get from this place is one in which I felt that I was staying at a mini resort/hotel. My only regret is not having had the foresight to have booked it for far longer as the studio that I stayed in was absolutely fantastic.
TV, fridge, Wi-Fi, and a comfortable bed is something that all will appreciate. The
neighbourhood itself also was nice and quiet whilst being nearby a metro station.
Nevertheless, these are some of my critiques: I had to wait 30 minutes past check in for the key to be handed to be. I wasn't promptly informed that I'd have to wait with my luggage outside the scorching heat for the host the show up past the agreed-upon time. Also, the room wasn't clean when I arrived. I had to wait for the cleaning lady to clean the room on top of having to wait 30 minutes for the key to be handed over to me.

Found the area was very quiet and communication was very prompt. The studio was extremely small and not very clean. This space would be ideal for one person and not two, not much room to move around in. Bathroom was extremely small and there was mold around the grout... also got extremely humid after you showered. So for us it wasn't ideal and wont stay here again.
