Meh. If there wasn't the deposit, I'd say go for it. Now, look for something else if possible.

It's located in a great spot, city center is not too far and the place is very walkable. Check-in system is well though and works nice. That flat itself is nice, but it's in some kind of block building, so you can hear the neighbours.

Right after I completed the booking they demanded a safety deposit of 200€ paid on the external website. If I would have known this, I would have never booked - what's the point of using Booking.com if I have to pay some sketchy fees even if I'm using my credit card and I'm a lifetime user of the service? In the end I had to pay the deposit and it was returned, but it's a negative experience I would like to avoid. Shower was broken. Beds aren't comfortable, but are okay for a short stay.

Everything was perfect. The apartment was very clean, modern, and well equipped. The bed was extremely comfortable, the location was great, and check-in was very easy. Everything was exactly as described.

Easy to get checked in. Location is terrific, right near a nice plaza with coffee and a short walk to the centre. Every room is quite spacious especially if you're lucky enough to get one of the corner ones. The bathroom is very clean and new. Has all the thing you need for a short stay. The view outside of your room is incredible. Especially if the weather is nice (rare in Eindhoven if you're not there during the summer).

The blankets were half-sized (two of them) so it doesn't really cover your body. The pillows were also very low. They also don't offer room-cleaning for stays less than a week so unless you're there for a prolonged period of time, you won't get any room cleaning. They can provide more towels though. Not a big deal and would definitely stay again.

Location was great. It is newly renovated and very clean. Netflix was available on the television, they had a well stocked kitchenette. Shower had good water pressure and the bathrooms were incredibly clean and new.

The blanket was cot-sized. Hard to get comfortable with such narrow blankets. The pillows are also awfully low, had some neck problems. Additionally, they only clean the place for stays longer than a week, which I assume in most cases are not the length of stay there. Elevator was broken as well but they addressed that they were fixing it.

Location is wonderful. A former industrial area, with both high end restaurant and local start up initiatives.

A Pleasant Stay, but Some Improvements Needed

The stay was pleasant — the apartment had absolutely everything you might need. The balcony was beautiful, and the view was amazing. The neighborhood was also very quiet and peaceful, which we really appreciated.

However, the cleanliness could definitely be improved, as it didn’t seem properly done. The walls could use some refreshing, as they’re marked in several places. Also, the no smoking policy — not even on the balcony — felt a bit unreasonable. The entrance area looked quite shady, and the elevator wasn’t working during our stay. Because of these issues, I’d rate it 3 stars, as it doesn’t quite reach a 4-star standard.

Good sized apartment with great facilities and close to the centre.

The apartment is situated in a former gas works that has been beautifully converted to flats and a couple of bars/eateries. Really quiet area with little traffic and a very easy 10 to 15 mins walk to the main square. Room was very nicely decorated with great facilities as well. Everything in there worked perfectly and the shower was particularly good - very powerful and huge. Great place to stay to explore the city as it was close enough but quiet in the evenings. Had an issue getting the code for the door as an email had supposedly been sent advising I needed to pay a 200 euro deposit but I hadn't received this email. A quick phone call later and the codes were sent once paid.

Beware that you need to pay a deposit before the codes are sent - which I didn't receive.

The apartment is on the second floor of a building. I received the access codes on my mobile an hour before arriving and everything with the access was very easy. We had 1 bedroom with very comfortable bed and pillows, another room with big sofa, a kitchenette with all we need. The bathroom is big enough. But the most exiting thing was the terrace - with a wide view of the surrounding houses and beyond them. Nice for morning coffee and evening glass of wine. I would recommend to have dinner at home because eating outside is away from my expectations. The neighborhood is quiet and very close to the center - we were always walking to the main street with shops and restaurants. We had a memorable stay in Eindhoven.

Cleanliness can be majorly improved. Literally hairs everywhere especially in the bathroom. Dust balls near the bed, looked like it hadn’t seen a vacuum cleaner in ages. Lift was from a horror movie… wouldn’t call it a lift as it’s a ramp that goes up if you continually press a button… it blocked twice so we used the steep stairs that had no lights.

It's ok, but too expensive as for what they provide

Very nice location. In general everything is new and clean. Check-in worked as expected. Nice view from the terrace.

In the description of the room it's written that washing machine and iron are available. But iron was not available. When I called thr support they told me that they bring me the iron in the morning. When I asked in the morning when they arrive they told me they cannot bring me the iron on time - that's really bad organisation. Furthermore they mark themselves as sustainable - but they give me a cup, but don't provide washing detergents for washing machine. So they assume everyone will buy whole big washing powder and they throw it away? In the bathroom was no soap for hands. Overall it seems they do not pay attention to the details, and if something is wrong they support is useless. In the wardrobe and in the room there's not nice smell - I think they do not ventilate this room often enough. In general it's totally not worth the money - it's super expensive but not very good. You need to pay the deposit 200€.

A lovely appartment within a 5 minute walk of the city center.

Well located and gives for a really comfortable stay. The appartment had all the necessary amenities, including coffee and cooking utensils. Everything was up to expected and the balcony allowed for a relaxed morning.

I completed the booking in time, paid the fee and the security deposit. Then one hour before I could take my room, I received an email that limehome is really sorry that I cancelled my booking. I have not cancelled it! Then I called them to gather information. It turned out that I have done nothing wrong, they had some issues with “housekeeping”, that is why my booking was deleted. After that I had to look after a new place to sleep in the last minute that cost me extra money. Then I received other emails from limehome still that they are sorry that I cancelled my booking, but I have to pay the costs of cancelling my booking the last minute. Then booking sent an email that limehome is so generous that they decided to return me my money and they hope that I will book at them next time. In the end, they returned my money 14 Eur short! I notified booking almost 2 weeks ago and nothing happened… THIS PLACE IS A HOAX! Avoid it at far as you can! I dont know what is more upsetting; that they tried to convince that I cancelled my reservation when I didnt; that they have returned my money 14 eur short; that I had to look after a new place in the last minute; or that booking did nothing to solve this issue… I hope you consider twice before booking this place!

Comfy stay in lovely neighbourhood

The apartment was above what I usually book, it was very comfortable and spacious, with fully equipped kitchen, comfortable bed, big screen TV and located in a posh, quaint, charming neighbourhood of the city, a nice stroll away from the city centre. The apartment comes with a nice balcony/terrace that I didn't get to use because of cold rainy weather.

Inside the apartment there are no doors between rooms and no door to the kitchen. So if someone arrives late or wakes early, will bother everyone else, not to mention privacy if 2 couples choose to stay in. There is no possibility to leave your luggage in storage if you arrive too early for check-in. I had to do self-check in online - for someone who is not very young or very techy, this can be cumbersome. The cosmetics in the bathroom were 3 identical bottles of hair shampoo and the shower was not working properly, which I didn't expect at this price category.
