Hotel was unable to confirm bed type in advance which is poor when offering this option

the location is good, but that's all.
Communication with the hotel was horrible. I waited for 3 weeks for a simple change on my booking and the hotel and booking staff kept blaming the other one for the issue. The room was dusty, like no one cleaned the desk and the cups etc in it for a while. They didn't even acknowledge our request if a specific type of room was available on checking in.
