Friendly hotel near city centre with pool.

Friendly, with a swimming pool. Helpful staff and clean hotel.

Hardly any staff spoke Dutch which is hard when one doesn’t speak English very well. It would be comparable to going to Italy and no staff being able to speak Italian. The pool has a sauna but this has to be turned on by request at reception- and will take a while to heat up - so do bear that in mind.

Not worth the money

All the hallways smelled like weed as someone was smoking inside his/her room. Also the room had no window, was not clean enough and had a lot of cracks in the walls including the bathroom

Nice stay at Park Plaza Hotel

The location is good and the swimming pool and the sauna was nice, the playing room was superb. The bed in the room was very comfortable.

The shower felt cheap and the tv is old so no Netflix or other apps can be used

Poor facilities such as tv, fridge and phone not working, unhelpful staff, bad hygiene in room, stained worn carpets and furniture plus insulin needle found in sofa bed, dirty sock hanging on smoke alarm upon arrival very disappointing this hotel has become badly run and is not worth the money. It is also advertised as having spa facilities which is a joke as they are not even operating

The building is an odd shape, with different levels, kinda easy to get lost Seemed to be a lot of party groups around, The revolving front door is annoying if you have several cases

It’s comfortable and the sauna and pool are good! Maybe provide towels at the pool area will make it extra nice!

The windows in the rooms on 1st floor don’t open. Fresh air would be nice. Advise people that there’s parking available on the street with some free hour slots.

The hotel needs more care from the higher management/owners

The bed is HUGE and comfortable. The staff were helpful, polite and friendly. The location seemed ok and the facilities were clean

You can clearly see that there’s an attempted digitisation of the whole guest experience, maybe to save on staff costs. However, the mobile app sometimes doesn’t work and the WhatsApp messages are barely answered within the same day. The place is clearly understaffed. Also, it’s a bit run down with stained ceilings that are peeling off. The floors are really noisy wooden floors under the carpet so you can hear quite loudly when someone is walking upstairs. Even the hotel name inside the lift is peeling off and the lift is quite slow. It seems that once upon a time they had restaurants that are now closed and from the outside give the place an image of dereliction. The pool also has a build up of limescale of some sort near the top margin.

Amazing stay,we are booked to return in November

Loved that when we arrived,although it was 3+ hours before check in,a room was ready for us.Staff were so helpful and friendly in all areas of the hotel and provided excellent customer service.

The only slight negative was that our room had a frosted window due to the view and we couldn’t open the window..

Fine for the price but in no way above expectations or exceptional.

Good location, the rooms were clean and good price. One of the few hotels in Eindhoven with a pool. Breakfast was nice and the lady working super sweet. You’re allowed to bring it up to the room which was nice.

The room was much smaller than photos suggested and so dark forget about doing any make up. Even the bathroom was super dark. Pool closed 15-18 which is pretty much when we would have liked to use it. Check in is at 15 and most people eat dinner or go out in the evening so this was quite weird. Also changing rooms and showers by the pool weren’t that fresh.

Would stay again!

Staff were very helpful and friendly. We got an early check in which was much appreciated as we were travelling from early. Breakfast was also nice. There was a good selection and it was fresh. Lobby area is lovely, as is the games room.

The shower area at the pool is dangerously slippy, patrons should be warned so as to ensure they have suitable footwear. Loud music both nights could be heard in our room in the evening, the first night until 10:30ish and the 2nd until at least 11:30. I’m not sure if it was from inside the hotel or a premises outside. Could be worth keeping in mind when placing families in the room, as we had a tired toddler to settle to sleep.

Its was ok. Breakfast was good and there were good facilities.

The room I was in wasn't very clean, the mattress was uncomfortable, and the room smelt of mould. The parking was expensive too. Overall, I expected a lot more from this hotel - quite disappointed.

Front desk not responsive

The location

Towels and bed linens weren't changed for three days. Trash wasn't taken out of the room as well. The room had a bad smell even before I checked in. I spoke to a person at the front desk, promised to change the towels but nothing happened. I regret choosing this property and I don't recommend it based on my experience.

Exceptional

I have stayed here earlier as well and everytime the experience has been fantastic.I stayed in business suite and the room size was very good. Swimming pool was very clean and kids enjoyed the pool along with sauna. It's quite close to restaurants and shopping district. It's approx 10mins walkable from Central train station. Quite good location.

I haven't tried the in-house restaurant so won't be able to comment.
