Tranquil Stay

The location of the hotel was amazing with an excellent view. It was located further along the shore and so was very peaceful and quiet. You even get a personal boat to take you to and from the ferry stop. The food was amazing, especially the breakfast which included lots of fresh fruit and juice.

The staff weren't overly clear about what was included in the room rate but this was quickly clarified later.

Amazing spot to chill and enjoy the view, very close to great bars and restaurants

Beautiful property with great areas to chill on the jetty, by the pool or on the beach 10 seconds away! Everyone was incredibly welcoming and kind. We used the free kayaks to go to a nearby restaurant round on the next bay which was great. The walk into Abraao village was only 10-15 mins and there are a great selection of bars and restaurants on the sand or inland. Would highly recommend this piece of paradise with the most incredible views across the bay. Obrigado! PS if you like playing football, bring your own ball and someone will always join in on the beach

Lovely hotel on a beautiful Island

Lovely hotel, in a great location just 5 minutes walk to local restaurants or 15 minutes to the beach. There were lots of options at breakfast.

The rooms were a little tired and there wasn’t any areas (apart from a pontoon that fit 4) that you could use during the day to sit or relax.

The perfect outpost on an idyllic island.

The team at Casa Ilha are really friendly and were great hosts during our stay, organising transfers in advance. The views from the hotel are to die for and the bedroom was comfortable and spacious. We often ate lunch or dinner there and the food was good, the breakfast offering is great and the afternoon coffee and cake a real bonus. Would highly recommend this spot to anyone travelling to Ilha Grande.

Perfect location on perfect island

Very friendly staff, beautiful view from the restaurant. Easy access to the beach. Its location just outside the town makes it accessible yet quiet. Lovely massage in the spa. The water taxi from the town was much appreciated and the communication was first class. The hotel have their own boat and we booked a trip round the island with them which was excellent.

The breakfast was great- plenty choices including fresh fruit platters, freshly baked goods and a hot meal options. The staff were all friendly, prompt and helpful. Beautifully maintained rooms and property with great views. The property is a 20 min walk from the main abraao pier but the casa included easy and convenient boat transfers to and from the main ferry. we booked an island day tour through the casa and we were collected from there so it was very convenient.

Lovely place to stay in a great location

Lovely place for a stay in Ilha Grande. Less than 15min walk on the beach to Abraao, with all the places to go out for dinner, and yet the place feel very secluded and very quiet. Large rooms with a nice view over the sea. Great breakfast in the morning! And very friendly and helpful staff. Definitely recommend!

It was a great place to explore Ilha Grande for 2 nights, the kindness and help from the staff to organize all transfers

Peaceful stay with amazing views

The hotel was a 10 min walk from the centre of Abraão, quiet and peaceful location with a beautiful view. Breakfast was excellent with a good choice of fruits, hams and cheeses, as well as eggs - we loved having it out on the porch with the view of the bay. Afternoon tea with cakes was available every day. They also offer kayaks and can help you organise tours of the island. The staff was super helpful and friendly.

We chose the garden room but there was a strong smell of mold when we arrived. The staff cleaned the room the next day and it was much better however I would recommend the sea view rooms in the front as they are more exposed to the sun and have a beautiful view too.

An incredible place to stay! We wanted to extend our stay but it was already full. Very peaceful location with everything you need. Beds were so comfortable. Showers were hot. Breakfast was great. Want to come back already!

The property was superb. The location is amazing and the staff is super friendly. The views and the arrival were just wonderful.

I had a bad experience with a guest that took a pre-booked boat trip around the island. I don’t know what happened but it was somehow unpleasant. The staff were super friendly and managed to find us another trip but the experience was quite not the same + the snorkeling material didn’t work well. Also, they forgot to put towels inside the room one day.

Great breakfast, beautiful view, great service. The people here go out of their way to be helpful and supportive. The views are gorgeous. The rooms are very spacious. The breakfast is great and the view for breakfast is also great. The continental breakfast is better than at most places but they also add freshly cooked eggs, three different ways.

The king size bed was actually two twin mattresses which was uncomfortable. The name that they use for marketing is a bit misleading. On the island they are referred to by a different name and there is an inn by the same name (Casa da Ilha) on a different part of the island. The service where we stayed was great and the experience was good but it's not where I meant to stay.

Just 10 mins walking from the 'main' city but excellent location. Certainly one of the best on the island as you are close to restaurants etc but you're still secluded and away from the business. the view is superb as well as the staff. Always willing to help. Speak French, English and Portugese. Good assisting on travel, transport or excursions. If you want to relax stay here. Don't hesitate.

perfect location and everything you need for first time visit.

very nice location, all the rooms I could see had great views of the bay, staff are all super friendly and helpful always happy to prepare kayaks/paddle boards when requested. their tender boat transfer from the pontoon helps massively and saves walking the beach with suitcases. best place to stay for your first trip to the island.
