Perfect location to explore Orkney, north, south, east and west. The accommodation had everything I needed and allowed me a quiet space for contemplation. It was cosy, comfortable and lovely to return to after a day of exploring. I love the way it is tucked into the back of the property. I enjoyed watching the birds gather in the fields each day. It was absolutely spotless and filled with extra little touches that showed care and consideration from Colin and Maureen. My favourite time was sitting chatting to them about Orkney and further afield. Could not have been better, and I hope to come back!

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub in diesem hübschen kleinen Häuschen. Es war alles da was man braucht, von Geschirr, über Handtücher, kleine Küche, großer Tisch...😀 Der Besitzer ist super freundlich und hat sogar Brot, Milch, Butter und Marmelade bereit gestellt für uns 😀Echt toll!! Wir kommen gern wieder

Maureen and Colin were absolutely wonderful, they left a delicious loaf of bread in the fridge, along with milk, butter and homemade marmalade and jam; truly delighted!

The location was great- we took walks in Finstown enjoying the area- but also close to the historical sites we wanted to see. A unique, sturdy hut and very clean. Super nice folks and very kind. Especially enjoyed the homey touch of fresh bread, butter and homemade jams.
