The Barn is one of three barn conversion holiday cottages situated on a working farm just a few yards from the Pentland Firth. Immaculately presented throughout and with stunning views across the sea with the Orkney Isles clearly visible, The Barn provides a wonderful base for a memorable get-away-from-it-all holiday. The main living accommodation is open-plan. The living area opens up through French windows to the garden beyond and affords the most incredible seascape views. The kitchen area is bright, modern and well-equipped and there is a modern dining table for four. The spacious bedroom is attractively furnished and has a super kings zip and link bed which can convert to twin beds as required. There is a modern bathroom with walk-in shower, toilet and basin. The Barn is situated close to some of the most fantastic beaches in the UK. With miles of golden sand and massive sand dunes forming a backdrop, the nearby Dunnet beach is simply spectacular. Surfing, body-boarding, sand-buggying, swimming, horse riding and wild-life watching are all local pastimes, yet this superb beach is never crowded.
The Barn can be booked together with The Byre (CC511322) and The Stable (CC511323) to accommodate up to 8 guests.

A lovely warm, comfortable and very clean cottage. Great views and seals seen in the harbour that can be viewed from the garden. Beautiful countryside and beaches nearby.
