North Point Pods NC500

Cant believe how many facilities were fitted into a pod, more than you could possibly imagine including; shower, TV, fridge and kitchen appliances! The owner was very clear that the space was small, given we were a family of four, but this was an alternative to camping and we managed just fine with 2 adults, a 12 year old and a 10 year old. I guess its all about your expectations. This accommodation exceeded ours.

Almost everything was great, although we did find the duvet and pillows for the fold-out bed a little flat.

The location, parking, air-fryer, cleanliness. The host was online to answer all the questions and navigate, which is very helpful when having a trip with your child and need something right now :) so, I would recommend it, but only for 1 night and for no more than 2 people.

These are just my personal observations — some of the other points may be less essential, but for what it’s worth: • WiFi wasn’t very stable. You need to switch the TV on to use it, and this had to be repeated each morning, as it seemed to disconnect overnight. • The TV wasn’t working when we arrived, so we had to get help from the host to fix it online — a bit frustrating after a tiring trip. • The bed was a little uncomfortable, as the mattress is very soft. • The pod is quite compact, and the same goes for the shower — I understand space is limited in a pod like this, but it’s worth mentioning so guests know what to expect. A couple of unsolicited suggestions, just in case they’re helpful: • Removing the large dustbins could free up some extra space. • Swapping the sofa for a chair that folds out into a bed might work better — though I imagine the sofa helps when a group of four wants to fit comfortably.

Location great, had everything we needed for a one night stay.

Couch could be a little comfier.

Nice location, bed was comfortable and clean, bathroom was standard

A few amenities were of low quality, the barbecue was on its last legs and the couch inside was okay just probably needs replacing
