Great size, good parking off the main road, very thoughtful extras included (bread, milk), lovely views, comfortable seating area and bed. Lovely to meet the super smiley owner too! Oh, and recycling bins - amazing!

We loved the location, easy access to all areas of the island, large area for parking, very quiet , great views of the sea and the bungalow offered all we may need for our 3 night stay such as small cooking top, washing machine, good wifi and Sarah, the host, supplied a welcoming selection of tea, coffee, bread, milk and biscuits. Even though we were left alone, we had easy access to Sarah if we had any needs.

I stayed at Kevara in the middle of my 3 week vacation and specifically wanted to be able to do my laundry, which I was able to do there and they provided detergent as well! The kitchen was amazing, it had everything I needed and more. The hosts were very kind and responsive. They provided some teas, bread, and little cookies which was SO nice because I arrived really late at night and had nothing to eat <3
Everything was great. I can't think of anything that I did not like.

This cottage was a wonderful place to stay, plenty of room, comfortable living room and kitchen area, with a separate bedroom and bathroom. There is room to park the car right outside the door, and a beautiful view across the bay. Finstown makes a superb base for exploring Orkney with easy access to Kirkwall in one direction and Skara Brae in the other. There is a lot to see on Orkney, well worth a visit (and if you do, Kevara is a great place to stay). Sarah also left us supplies when we arrived which was welcome.
