Rymmon Retreat

Rymmon Retreat provides the perfect environment for relaxation and rejuvenation.

Beautifully located with water views. Extremely quiet. Much larger than we had imgined and he all the facilities that you could expect. Given its remote location, come prepared to self cater, but it is so lovely that we could have stayed for days.

Nothing, everything excellent.

Fabulous space in a lovely quiet area. No noise. No light pollution. Beautiful sunsets through the living room window. I had all the weather, from a calm, sunny day to horizontal rain, and it was all spectacular to see. It was so nice to be in a decent sized space, there was everything you could need in the kitchen, ithe whole lodge was clean and comfortable. Sarah & Rich helped when I needed it, and left me in peace the rest of the time. Orkney was beautiful and I would love to come back, and I would absolutely stay here again.

The location

Ensuite shower wasn't working and not repaired since last autumn. Single bed was very noisy and uncomfortable. The Lodge was extremely cold when we arrived in the evening. Would have expected a warmer welcome. Kitchen lacked some essentials, e.g a grater, flat baking tray. Salt and pepper mill. Pictures on the Internet are misleading and should be taken down as they relate to former owners. I.e. no shower products or a welcome pack. The location is amazing and wouldn't take much to make the Lodge very special.
