In a fabulous location on a hill overlooking the sea, right next to a field of horses.
Extremely clean and lots of lovely extra touches - treats for the dog, fresh milk in the fridge and cereal for breakfast.
Debbie was a very friendly host and very easy to communicate with. Lovely wee pod!

Lovely stay in this camping pod. Extremely dog friendly including treats left for him. Facilities were great everything we needed. It was a very cold and wet night outside, so I was very pleased to be extremely warm and cosy inside the pod. Couldn’t have asked for a nicer evening.

We really enjoyed our time in the camping pods. It was well equipped and good value for money. The bed was comfortable and the views were lovely. It was also nice and quiet.
There was nothing I didn’t like but it would have been nice to have running water in the pod instead of having to go across to the bathroom to fill the kettle or brush your teeth etc.

Cute little Pods which were very well equipped. Lovely views, clean and comfortable. As long as you arrive with the mindset that it is small and you need to go outside to get to shower room & toilet...it was perfect for a different experience.
No fault of the owner but the middies were a pest. Go prepared with nets if you want to spend time outside.

Great location on the NC500 route. Allows you to get to Duncansby Head early before the crowds. Compact but comfortable. Has all you need for simple meals for a short stay - ie a microwave, kettle and toaster. We stopped at the Tesco in Wick on the way up and picked up soup and bread for dinner. The pod had cereal for breakfast and had milk in the fridge for us to use.
It is worth noting that the toilet and shower is in a separate building 10m away. Not a big deal, unless of course the weather is poor.

This was one of our favourite places to stay whilst on out NC500 journey. We were greeted (in the rain!!) upon arriving and the pod was spectacular. Everything you need for a comfortable stay. Very clean. Thank you very much

Excellent location with views across the farmers field and sea, not too far from amenities but far enough away that it's nice a peaceful, Debbie was fantastic, really helpful and gave us a few tips for the local area, shepherd's nook was provided with all the information needed for our stay and the bed was super comfortable, 1 of the best beds I've ever had while staying away and to top it off there was wee sparrows flying around which was great to see.
Nothing i didn't like, exceptional place for everything

The Shepherds Hut was well presented, clean and comfortable. It was a relaxing pleasant space, including the garden and picnic bench. Tea, coffee including milk and cereal provided. Debbie was very helpful with communications and answering my queries before arriving. Check in and out was easy and efficient. Thank you.

Excellent location for catching the Orkney ferry the next morning.
Using the separate bathroom at night - but this is the norm for glamping so it's not a criticism.

Outside toilet during the night is not ideal but this is reflected in the price

As we were driving the NC 500 it was a nice break to stay away from the crowds and in the farming area. In all of our travels in Scotland the pod was the only accommodation that had microwave toaster kettle. For the small size of the accommodation it had everything. We were able to purchase a heatable meal prior to arriving for dinner. This was the only time on our 8 day road trip that we able to do this.
Nothing it was a delight to stay in the pod. Nice and cosy and a unique experience.

Amongst the cheapest of all the accommodation we booked along the NC500. Owner friendly and helpful. Private bathroom clean and functional.
No means of washing up.

Convenient stopover for ferries to Orkney or the NC500
Unusual accommodation but fine for a couple of nights.

Remote location, with good clear directions to find it from host. Immaculately clean pods and shower/toilet block. Well thought out facilities. Staying in a pod is a more basic choice but enough space for a comfortable and warm stay! Lovely views and peaceful location. Breakfast was basic but adequate. Host was helpful and non intrusive but available if needed and friendly. Enjoyed our visit. Perfect stop on the NC500.

Did exactly what it said on the tin, owner was very friendly and helpful. For a small pod it packed a lot of features. Would definitely recommend.
Nothing, everything was great.

Quiet location, cosy but had all that we needed for a comfortable stay and the shepherds hut was beautifully maintained. Debbie was so welcoming and helpful. We loved the little extras like breakfast cereals, teas, coffees etc . Good to spend a couple of nights and get an opportunity to relax during our trip.
Shower hot water was a little hit and miss but we got there in the end.

Very cosy pod with many thoughtful touches. Even though it was windy and a bit drizzly, the pod was warm and snug. The bed was very comfortable too. We appreciated the milk and cereal that Debbie had left for us and Harry, the dog, enjoyed his treats.
I wasn't keen on having to go outside to use the bathroom facilities, although they were very close, especially when it was dark and drizzly.

Very comfortable and cozy. Very clean and well laid out. Clean private toilets and shower. Host was very accommodating and came to see us when we arrived to make sure all was okay. Comfortable bed. Small kitchen area with toaster, kettle, microwave, fridge and utensils.
Not anything the host can change, but beware of the pot holes on the road leading up to the location.
