The property is extremely clean, I mean spotless, the owner is extremely organized and very detail oriented which I appreciate bc I am like that myself. Very clean and close to restaurants, train and roadways. Stefano is an excellent host and very accommodating. Parking is awful and the neighborhood does not feel overly safe. The effort getting into the apartment was also taxing.

I made the reservation on the fly, and the owner, Stefano was available to us right away and met us there. He provided a great check in and orientation as well as a free parking spot close to the guesthouse. Fantastic all the way around stay, for 2 nights. Close to everything, walked and took train.

One of three new en suite hotel-standard rooms sharing a kitchen. Fitted to a high standard. Clean and comfortable. Fabulous shower. Secure entry to a residential building, rooms are on the 4th floor with a key-controlled lift. Short walk to the railway station. Downside is the neighbourhood is a little run down but safe. 10mins walk to pedestrian area with plenty of restaurants. 30 minutes walk to harbour for Cinque Terre boat. Great base camp.

Absolutely a great place to stay. Location was anazing for access to the Cinque Terre. Stefano met me at the apartment for check in and kindly allowed bag storage after check out. Would stay again.

The hosts are super friendly and full of all kinds of helpful information for first timers to the area! We felt very welcomed and taken care of. The room was super clean, comfortable, and up to date. It is located on a very busy street, so not as idyllic as some of the other places we stayed, but we were tired enough from hiking to sleep right through the traffic noise. Easy walking distance from train station. The common kitchen area was nice to have, microwave but no oven. Provided bottled water was a nice surprise. Breakfast comes in the form of vouchers that you cash in at a coffee bar a few buildings up the street for your choice of pastry or small sandwich (kind of different, but we enjoyed it). Overall this was an enjoyable stay!

Our host met us on the way from the train station! Wonderful Starr to our stay. The guest house is beautifully renovated and has everything we could want, from a great bed, lovely bathroom, great little kitchenette facilities to a lot of books about the area. Cinque Terre and Portovenere are easily reached from La Spezia, and given the proximity of the train station, this was a perfect place from which to visit both. As only part of the trail system was accessible, we were very happy to have stayed in La Spezia. Highly recommended guest house!
