I crossed the border to the American side of Niagara Falls on the day of my birthday, with the intent of doing some cross-border shopping, and the experience started off on a really high note.
At check-in, the front desk attendant noticed I was visiting from Canada and asked what brought me over. When I mentioned it was my birthday, Sophie or Sofie at the front desk immediately wished me a happy birthday and went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. When I was indecisive between my two options, she kindly offered both as a birthday gesture.
She also allowed me to park for free in their Diamond parking spot and took the time to recommend nearby places to grab a drink or a bite to eat. She was professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely engaging, which made the experience feel warm and personal rather than transactional.
While it being my birthday certainly helped set the tone, the level of hospitality stood out regardless. The thoughtful gestures turned what could have been a standard check-in into a memorable experience, and I would happily stay here again.

The property and room were clean and attractive, the only drawback was that we couldn't adjust the temperature in our room making it very warm at night. Nothing that cracking open the balcony door couldn't fix, but it would have been nice to not have had to do that. The bar/restaurant area looked very nice, but apparently was closed for the season. The hotel was an easy walk to the Falls and all the tourist activities around there. I would absolutely stay here again.
