Very nice room, the other guests didn't bother me. It's in an excellent location. The amenities in the room were what I needed.

Housekeeping isn't always available during the day. If you're on an extended stay, (like me,) you have to communicate to get it. Some of the staff listened, but possibly due to a lack of housekeeping staff...you would make a request then not get the housekeeping.

The stay was short, minimal availability.

Location was excellent. Front desk staff, the only staff, were outstanding.

The pool was shut down due to a broken part. The room, and hallway, were extremely cold. We could at least heat up the room. Faucet for sink leaked. Other than pizza, outrageously priced, there was no food service available. All seasonal which we didn't know when booking. The gift shop, with some food, closed early. Amenities were minimal.

Good clean, habitable, and nice place to book a stay.

Location is excellent, my room exceeded my expectation's from the apartment I used to rent from the Western New York Veterans Housing Coalition's Stratford Arms Building. Very clean, neat and orderly, friendly staff...during the holidays they had been short staffed, but they made up for it. I recommend this property for veterans in similar situations. Owner's very friendly and understanding.

Dont stay here.

It was close enough to the falls.

We booked foe the heated indoor pool and hot tub. After check in the desk staff told us the pool was closed due to reconstruction. Ther shower surrong was popped off the wall. There was a roach crawling on our door. A ceiling tile above the window was missing and a water line was running up through. Cold air was just blowing through the room. We had the heat up to 87 and the curtains closed to try to keep it warm enough for the night. When we spoke to the manager he had no clue the room was like this and he said he wasnt going to do anything abiut the pool/hot tub because by the time he would contact anyone or update the sign outside or online it would be fixed because the heater blew. I said well befor customers check in they should be told the pool is not in use and not after we already changed to get into it. Also, it wasnt listed ANYWHERE on booking.com but after we booked we got a seperate email from booking.com stating thefe is a $19.95 per day parking fee from the hotel. Very disappointed and DO NOT reccomend!!

The location is amazing!

I booked this hotel for the indoor pool which was closed. We had to pay $20 for the parking deck. The room and halls smelled like smoke. The pictures look nothing like the actual room.

Hotel is located at a walkable distance from the falls. There are some good Indian restaurants around the hotel. Price was also low.

Hotel was very old. Breakfast was very bad. Only breads and waffles were there. We have to make our own waffles and there was a big queue for using the waffle maker. There were three waffle maker, out of which one was not working. We expected to have eggs but no. Bathroom and toilet was cramped. Bathroom paper towel holder was rusty and broken. I cut my hand badly when using the broken paper towel holder.

The location was great, the photos are a little deceiving as you could not see the falls from the hotel and had to walk a little bit. The bar was great, bartender was so funny. The breakfast was amazing, lots to choose from.

Location location location!!!! The pool and hot tub were decent. The courtyard was awesome to relax and vibe in. Close to gift shops and restaurants and within walking distance from the American Falls. The air conditioner worked great.

Breakfast was not good at all. Rubbery, cold sausage, eggs and the waffle maker Sunday morning. This morning my family woke up to prepackaged hard boiled eggs and cold cereal. The bathroom was tiny and hard to move around in. Bathroom was dirty

A good place to stay at the last minute.

The beds were very comfortable and the room was cool on a very hot evening. We booked at the last minute and appreciated getting rooms.

It wasn’t so clean in the common areas. The fire alarm went off at 2:45 so we were disturbed. Breakfast was chaotic.

It's an old hotel with little maintenance and not much cleanliness. The breakfast room is very small. It's crazy to have breakfast there. I had to go somewhere else to have breakfast. Almost everything is closed, early in the morning. I had to cross into Canada.

Do not stay here!

To be honest - nothing. Outdated, dirty and due to how it is attracts the wrong people. especially for such a beautiful historical area.

The hotel’s inadequate parking capacity forced me to walk nearly two blocks with a small child and luggage. Had to pay for garage parking on top of an expensive one night here- less than 10 hours. The pervasive odor of grime and cigarette smoke permeated the entire establishment from the moment guests entered. The “security/information” desk had a man sitting just watching his phone. Never lifted his head as myself and others walked in. The front desk employee, working alone amidst a seemingly overwhelming influx of irate guests, appeared visibly distressed. The bedroom was filled with an intense aroma of cigars, the air conditioning pushing additional smells resulting in a sore throat upon waking. Attempting to make coffee, I discovered that the pot was overflowing with what appeared to be mold. Unable to operate the coffee machine to not make coffee- what seemed to then be a malfunctioning power button, I closed it since I was NOT using this then made a mess of coffee grinds all over- in an attempt to inform the cleaning staff about the issue, she dismissed my concerns with amusement. The vending machine, which accepted payments, malfunctioned, necessitating the front desk employee’s provision of small amounts of cash for replacements. While the hotel’s limited availability on Expedia was the sole reason for our stay, I can confidently assert that this experience will not be repeated in the future. Only picture taken was the mold in coffee pot- really should have to support my documentation.

Skip the breakfast

Breakfast was horrible, line would go back to the elevator every morning, just a couple of options, they keep running out and restocking only a handful at a time, juice machine was always filthy, all guests were pilling up at the bar for lack of chairs, didn’t get the name, but there was always a young black girl ( supposedly an employee) stealing yogurts cups to take home and being nasty to elderly guests, I saw more than one complaint about her, I’ve never seen something so demeaning, we ended up eating elsewhere

The location is great. The female manager traci brown was great she took good care of us the bar and bartender was great also the maintenance man Craig was a very helpful guy fixing lots of stuff for us

The facility and hotel was totally just run down and outdated. Everything was broken in our first room. Gave us a second room supposed to be an upgrade but it wasn't and everything was broken in there. So finally they gave us a refund of one night which was nice to make up for the inconvenience. Some of the cleaning people were rude and smoking while cleaning

Close to the falls not a long walking distance. Restaurants on site were convenient. Gabrielle at the front desk was amazing. We got in late he was super helpful showed us around even though he was the only one there. Very polite and great customer service which goes a long way in my book.

Bad experience with unresolved issue re spoilt shower tap

Good location within walkable distance to Prospect Point

After a whole day out plus viewing the fireworks, we went back to our room ready to wash up and sleep. However, the shower tap does not work at all! I was so tired that I went to sleep anyway; but my husband really wanted a shower before bed. He reported the issue. After a hotel maintenance staff came and verified that the tap was really not working, he asked us to report the issue to the front desk the next morning and we could seek compensation. The next morning at check-out, we reported the issue. The front desk staff was non-committal, saying that the manager was not in. We left a hand-written note about the issue to be handed to the manager and asked that the manager liaise with us via email. To date (almost 3 weeks after our stay), no one has contacted us! This is very bad customer service indeed!

location is good along with price

When I arrived there were crumbs all over my carpet. There was no kleenex in the container. There were bowel remnants inside the toilet. They had to come in a couple times to clean up everything. I have stayed here about 5 times in the past and never had an issue. This is very basic things you expect to have done. Very disappointing.

I booked with a pet and checked in holding my dog. Our second night we were stopped by hotel staff on our way to dinner reservations and told that they did not put us in a pet friendly room and we needed to immediately pack up and move rooms. We spent an hour of our only full day at the falls packing up our entire room and moving. We missed our dinner reservations, etc. When I offered a suggestion to the manager about having hotel staff confirm pets upon check in, she got smart with me and told me guests should tell them. I told her I booked online indicating I had a pet and was holding my dog upon arrival. I couldn’t have been any more transparent about the fact that I had a small dog with me. Our first room was dirty - feces stains in the toilet, crayons under the bed, hair in the towels, stains (looked like blood) on the carpet, etc. The pool was filthy.
