Very nice first impression. Hotel well appointed and on the marina. Room very (and I mean very) clean. Also looks recently redone (tho I could be wrong-just looks modern and no signs of wear). Breakfast varied and seating outside a nice touch (breakfast is an upcharge). Luggage hold on day of depart and room ready on day of arrival. Bar/restaurant pretty expensive relative to a short walk to a ton of bars/restaurants across the way from the hotel. 5 minute walk and your choice of seat in any of a number of places. Next door to the aquarium but not intrusive at all. Within 10 minute walk to a ton of things-Palacio Real/Via Garibaldi/Piazza de Ferrari. Little further and walkable to Genova Piazza Principe for the train and a lot of busses. We didn’t taxi or metro anywhere but saw plenty for taxis and metro stations. Coffee maker in room good. Safe too. Shower nice. Balcony comfortable with seating for 2. If you’re looking for good focaccia (not so thick) we did a tour and then found it the next day. La fantasie di gio. The walking tour was Prosecco, Focaccia, and Joy. Karl is encyclopedic. Tied for best money spent on this trip (with another experience in Manarola-pesto making). Genoa-2.5 days perfect amount of time. Enjoy!

This hotel was in a great location on the marina, in the middle of Genoa, about a 15 min walk from the train station. Very comfortable, the restaurant and breakfast we fabulous, and the service and associates were very helpful.

The hotel had the most comfortable bed, very large room and huge bathroom! The room was very clean and the hotel had a restaurant right on the marina. The appetizer we ordered was delicious. We left very early and could not try the breakfast buffet. It was a walking distance from the old downtown, which was very pretty. The hotel is next to the aquarium and that specific area was very busy and not as clean as their old downtown. It was convenient location close to the train station and 25 minute Cab drive to the Genoa airport. Staff was very friendly and helpful; they rdered our cab. Totally recommend it!

Nice hotel but open your wallet wide! Breakfast buffet is $23 per person and a simple spritz is $17 at the bar. The shower was good. The bed was very hard but pillows are soft. Items in the mini bar are very expensive. The hotel sits right on the harbor so it has nice views. Lots of restaurants within walking distance.

I visited this hotel in April with my mother. We chose the superior room with a balcony and it was wonderful. Our room had a queen bed and a separate area with a twin bed and a second balcony. It was very spacious and comfortable with beautiful bedding, pillows and towels. The room had everything we could want: an espresso machine, kettle, fridge and all toiletries. We chose to add breakfast to our reservation and it was excellent with many choices and excellent coffee. The port area is lively and the hotel is within easy walking distance of the old town, restaurants and shops and public transportation. I would recommend and would definitely stay here again.

Hotel is clean and staff are friendly. However, our shower head and the railing holding it was completely broken and showering was impossible. It was obvious it had been broken for some time as it was hanging in the bath tub when we entered the room. When we arrived at the property via car a group of men knocked on our car windows trying to sell us tickets to the aquarium (I think).

The Place is good reachable by car. Parking was full once we arrived but the very friendly lady at the receiption allowed us to park in front of the hotel till a space was available. In the hotel we had nothing to complain although the hotel is not of the newest standards (parking garage, elevator, etc.). Location is very central and save. Think we would book the Junior Suite for a family again.

We booked this hotel for one night before a cruise. Hotel is good but finding the entrance is not easy. If returning a rental car to the airport because is near, don’t be deceived by the maps, traffic is terrible and can take longer than expected. Staff in general are great. Rooms are a good size for European standards. Breakfast was great! If I find myself in Genoa again I will book again.
