Genoa trip

Clean room and Norma was kind and welcoming

I believe the property is not wheelchair accessible at all. I was inconvenient to have to lift my wheelchair a couple of steps and also the wheelchair elevator is small. The room was clean.

A strategic landing place to explore Genova before boarding a ferry to travel further

The proximity to the maritime terminal is definitely a plus and guided my choice. I wanted to do tourism in Genova without having the need to take a taxi before boarding the ferry, and this worked fine. With a 20-30 minutes walk, you can reach the old port of Genova with all the local attractions. The lady running this place was very helpful and kind. The separate bathroom was top. The owner on time provided very important and useful information to find the place via Whatsapp (photo of building shown to taxi driver was key).

I picked this place because of its proximity to the maritime terminal, I had to carry a lot of luggage. In this context, I would as helpful precisions for other travelers in a similar situation add the following: (1) prepare well how to get to that place. Uber is NOT available in Genova. From train station you can get here by public bus or with a local taxis. (2) Inside the very large residential building with an impressive staircase, elevators are available but really small and you need elementary spatial navigation skill (two different entries to the building). (3) If you are a fan of a huge breakfast, other options might be more interesting for you (or take a breakfast at the ferry terminal nearby).

in the middle of no where, nothing around us, very hard to find, no AC, fan working but no air, we didn’t sleep, showered all night, mosquitoes when you open the window and no air coming in

Great place for a short stop.

Genoa looks more like an industrial city than a holiday destination. We were passing through and this place was just perfect. It is difficult to find a place to park in the city, but there is a fairly large parking nearby.

La ubicación. Está ubicado en un barrio industrial que a la noche es zona roja y resulta temerario. No hay servicios en la zona: ni restaurantes, ni supermercados. El edificio es un monoblock de deptos sociales que resulta un laberinto. Sirve para pasar una noche y yendo en auto

Parfait !

Nous avons apprécié l'accueil. Comme nous avions fait un long voyage en voiture la gérante nous a proposé de nous arrêter pour manger avant d'arriver et qu'elle nous attendrait après l'heure limite. Le petit déjeuner était de qualité et copieux. La gerante nous a meme offert un petit cadeau de bienvenue. Nous avons aussi aimé l'environnement du logement. La vue est magnifique. Dommage que nous n'étions que de passage, nous serions bien restés plus longtemps !

Horrível

O facto de não ser tudo dito ao cliente, descobrimos que tínhamos um quarto inserido num apartamento na hora do check-in. Não há o mínimo de segurança para estacionamento e o bairro é muito mau aspeto para haver confiança a deixar o carro onde a dona do apartamento assegura ser o estacionamento exterior grátis. Tivemos que ir dormir a um hotel de 5 estrelas fora da cidade para termos acesso a um estacionamento onde pudéssemos ver o nosso carro e nos sentissemos seguros o suficiente para dormir.

Lage am Hafen, Bequem, Sauber

Die Lage nahe am Hafen, gegenüber hat es Parkplätze oder das Parkhaus vom Novotel. Die Dame hat extra bis halb Zwölf in der Nacht auf uns gewartet, da die Fähre Verspätung hatte und das wurde nicht verrechnet. Eigentlich wäre eine Gebühr nach 22:00h fällig, danke dafür. Das Zimmer war recht gross, das Bad separat nebenan, da wir die einzigen Gäste waren, war das etwas einfacher. Bequemes Bett, kleiner Balkon, zur Strasse hin. Man ist mitten in der Stadt, es war aber angenehm ruhig in der Nacht. Das Bad ist einfach und funktional, Dusche in der Badewanne ohne Vorhang. Kaffeemaschine, Wasserkocher, kleine Snacks und etwas Süssgebäck für den Start in den Tag.Man bedient sich selber. Schlüssel wieder deponieren, Haus verlassen, ganz einfach. Anreiseinformationen mit Fotos per WhatsApp erhalten, sehr hilfreich. Man kann direkt von der Autobahnauffahrt abfahren und am Morgen auch gleich wieder auf die Rampe drauf fahren, wenn man so wie wir Abends angekommen ist.
