Disappointed n very tiny is an understatement

Was not informed there was breakfast.

I've been over 200 hotels, 50 yrs all over the world Smallest room ever seen. I was in shock. Ì don't know how it received excellent review. It reads25 sqr meters, room is approx 6 x 12. A cell in correction center, n doll house is larger. Average man couldn't sleep in 30 in kids bed. My granddaughters doll house is larger than room. Very uncomfortable sleeping in kids outdoor lounge chair. This little kids room should be used as storage. Made my vacation very disappointed. Never again. World record for tiny kids bed in the smallest room. Couldnt believe i rented this doll house for 2 days nacceptable n Very uncontable.

Location and super staff

Room was small but cosy, well equipped kitchen, location- location everywhere was walkable. Staff was accommodating. The doors kept on playing up difficult to lock and open. Staff immediately responded and came up with a solution and sent somebody to sort out.

A great home base from which to explore the historic port and old city of Genova

Location close to the Old Port is excellent for a first-time visitor, within easy walking distance of everything. Staff at the B&B was so friendly and helpful, and they were very alert to our needs to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The B&B is in a beautifully renovated 13th century palazzo with a lot of history explained in the common areas. Breakfast was simple (packaged croissants, a variety of yogurts, some fresh whole fruit, coffee and milk), but perfectly adequate to start the day.

The room could benefit from some drawers or other storage for clothes, but for our relatively short four-day stay we were able to put our suitcases on the large window seats and work out of those.

Lovely accomodation in Genoa

Everything starting with the location and continuing with the room for breakfast where you can find not only coffe, but also fruits and sweets. Very nice comunication and aproach. I highly recomend.

Large, clean and conveniently located room near heart of old town Genova.

Really clean large room. Nice to have well stocked shared kitchen! Location was convenient for exploring the old town and the activities near the marina.

Shouldn't need to watch a video to find the location. Everyone has a cellphone. Simple text description of the entry process would have been easier than sending a large video file through text message. Many travelers reduce or eliminate their cellular data plans when traveling abroad. There should be a lighter weight alternative for guiding guests into the apartment for the first time.

For the price they're ok - but don't expect any service.

The location is good, close to everything. While I read a fair deal of reviews saying the property was difficult to find, I found it exceptionally easy. They provide youtube clips on how to find the property, and by viewing those before arrival - we found it on our first attempt. The rooms are clean, well laid out and their kitchen is convenient.

Their communication is terrible. When sending us the directions, they include an option for a taxi for 30 euros. We asked for clarification as to if it was per person or per taxi, at which stage they confirmed that it was per taxi. A little later we get an email advising us that their information was wrong and the price actually increases to 60 if there are 4 people or more. Regardless, we confirm we want to book and send them the flight details, arrival details etc and ask that they process the booking....and hear nothing back. Eventually 4 days later (the day before we arrive) I email them making sure they are expecting us, only to be told that a taxi reservation is not actually available to their address. So that was the first annoyance. Second is that they asked for my arrival times the day we were due to arrive, which I had already sent to them - clearly didn't bother to read through their correspondence. When arriving, there was no-one to be found - but luckily the lady at security managed to hunt someone down quickly enough. Where they did take the cake though, was on checkout - and this part would concern me greatly. They are IMPOSSIBLE to get hold of. We had a 10am meeting, and from 8.30am all the way to 9.30 we phoned constantly in order to get hold of someone to check us out. At least 40 calls later, with no response - we resorted to hiding the key in their passage. If you were for some reason locked out of your room or have an emergency, good luck in getting hold of someone. Last small annoyances were the noise, which many speak about - but for me the bigger annoyance was the light. They have shutters that do not close, and the lights in the street shine straight into the room. If you are expecting a somewhat dark room - this hotel is not for you.

Exceptional

Host were fantastic and knowledgable about the area, they spent time to give recommendation of places to visit in Genoa and also restaurants to go to. They were also able to tell me about transport options to the airport and place that I wanted to visit. The room was well kept and tidy with daily room service. They had a free to use kitchen with little snacks, fruits, coffee station and all the basic amenities. Accessing the building was very easy.

A very good place to discover Genova

Our guest has spent a lot of time explaining what to visit around and where to have rest and restaurants. The rooms were small but well furnished. The place was very central and close to a car park.

Cosy and perfectly designed

The location is unbeatable in a beautiful area of the old town. I had booked a single room and wondered, looking at the pictures if it might be a bit small. Upon spending time here, you quickly come to realise that a lot of thought has been put into the space and it has been perfectly designed. There is a place for everything and everything has been thought of. Yes, the room is small, but it never ever felt small. It was a brilliant little space and incredibly cosy. I had one of the best nights sleep of my entire trip here. Also, the colour of the bathroom is gorgeous.

One of the very few downsides of this place is the internal walls are pretty thin. If you have a noisy neighbour, you will hear them.

It was all very good.

From the entrance to the rooms everything was excellent. You feel like you are in a special place. The location is also almost perfect, you can go the most of the parts of the city by walk.

The old main door was not easy to open with the key. For 2 days we had to ring the bell. Kitchen area could be a little better maybe. (A better coffee machine would be perfect for instance)

Tea etc. in shared room. Nice bed, a lot of electrical plugs, even next to each side of the bed + dimmable reading light. Sent movies how to find the parking. But because we did not have a map, we went back to the parking in the wrong direction first.

No explanation how and where to unload the luggages and park in advance with a map. No lift.
