Super petit hôtel type auberge de jeunesse. Nous avons voyagé avec deux enfants. Le système lit double et lits superposés dans la chambre est top. C’était propre. Et bien placé par rapport au port et à la gare et la station métro Principe.
L’hôtel se situe juste au bord d’une route très passante et de l’autoroute. Aucun souci de bruit car les vitres sont super insonorisées mais les alentours directs de l’hôtel sont sans aucun intérêt.

Muy limpio el dueño muy amable serca de todo después de las 8 de la noche no hay actividad nocturna pero esta muy bueno estamos en otro país y que adaptarse al mismo.
Serca del tren que podes ir por toda Italia y serca de todo caminando te las arreglas para conocer.

TLDR: book this place. If you want the details, let me give you some of the highlights:
- the place is advertised as hostel, but honestly it feels like a family hotel. It’s cozy and quiet. We referred to it as “our home” because it felt like a home away from home.
- it’s clean, neat and functional. There is everything you need. There is also a shared kitchen, dining area and a cozy little living room. Inside the room there was more than we expected, including fast charger.
- the location is great. Literally 3 min away from the Galata museum (which is a must see if you like marine history) and a short walk from all major museums/tourist sites. The train station is 5 min away and the port is about 10 min away. There are also bus stops and metro stations around if you prefer not to walk.
- a lot of food options in the area. There is everything from a trattoria established in 1700 to Chinese food and Turkish kebab.
- the building is a gem 💎. And rich of history. Just ask about it.
- our host, Fabrizio, was probably the most welcoming host we ever had. He answered to my long list of questions some two months before our arrival. I didn’t expect such detailed responses, because people usually don’t do that. But I’m glad he did, because it helped me plan properly our vacation. Upon our arrival he welcomed us, showed us around and made sure we felt good. He was always available and helpful, going the extra mile for us. He recommended us a guide who made our stay even more special and helped us have a glimpse into Genoa’s secrets.
I guess I’m missing much more. But I’m very picky and if I loved it so much, you will probably like it.
The property was great. The only thing I regret is that we only had 3 nights there. Next time we’ll spend at least a week.
