I would never recommend again

Location at the lake

I stayed at this hotel a couple of weeks ago, and I will never return here again. I would also never recommend it to anyone. One star only, because this place clearly has no idea what service means. Let’s start with the very basics: they provided a kitchen but no cleaning supplies. If you want dish soap or even just a sponge, you have to pay extra. Even a trash bag is something you don’t get unless you ask and pay. And by the way, nobody takes out the trash. As for cleaning the room – it simply doesn’t happen. We stayed for several days, and I kept wondering: what if someone stays for two weeks? Would no one come to take out the garbage then either? You pay around €200 per night, yet you have to carry your own trash across the entire hotel and throw it into a container located outside the building. That’s not all – there were cobwebs, and when you open the closet it just stinks terribly. If you leave the closet door open, the whole room smells. And if you put your clothes inside, even if they are freshly washed, they’ll come out smelling bad and you’ll have to wash them again. There are many more issues we experienced that I could list, but the bottom line is clear: we will never come back here. One star.

Nice location but appartament was a dissapointment

The location just by the lake and the lakeview. Very good parking in the resort garden. Well maintained garden and beautifuly looking old villa structures.

Unfortunately the appartament was of a poor quality when it comes to cleaneliness, as there was a persistent bad odour impossible to air it out, there was absolutely no sound isolation so I heard every detail of my neighbours conversations or their TV channels. Also all the smells of neighbours kitchen cooking activities went to my bedroom and the whole appartament which vas very unpleasant and somewhat disgusting:( The cheap furniture such as tables were about to collapse, no sofa in the living room, just uncomfortable sort of worn out chairs. Therefore, the beautiful location experience was ruined by the poor quality of the appartament unfortuntely:( A low value for a relatively high price and in comparison to the alternative resorts in Padenghe in which I had stayed in previous seasons, so I know what should be the quality at that price and location. Luckily I stayed only 3 nights and could not immagine to stay there longer than that.

Youth hostel service at hotel prices

The views are beautiful, the building is magnificent and so are the grounds. The pool is clean and the whole place is generally peaceful. There is a lovely tapas restaurant nearby which we are at more than once.

The administration is very odd, no cleaning is included for the apartment either while staying or following departure. This makes the whole place feel less clean, as you feel that you are at the mercy of the last tenant's hygiene standards. Needless to say, we cleaned everything we used before using it, just in case. The receptionist who 'greeted' us was very frosty, which made for a bad start too. Overall the location was a little too quiet for us, I realise this may suit some people, but a week felt too long to spend here.

Superb

The location is just marvellous. You are exactly on the lake staying in a sort of modern castle with lush greenery and private parking. The restaurant is simply fantastic even though slightly expensive but it is to be expected when you are dining in such a scenery and place. The room also had a kitchen. They also did some clothes washing for me which were returned in good time.

The rooms were quite small especially the shower.

Overall, a lovely place!

Location: superb; on the lake, easy to reach from Desenzano, easy to travel from there to Milan or Venice/Verona. Swimming pool was lovely! The beach was also nice; managed to swim in the lake. They offered boat trips, and trips from the harbour around the lake. Nearby amenities were ok (supermarket in 2.5 km) and bus stop facing the hotel. We didn't have a car.

Room cleaning has to be paid for, and the same for changing towels. The sofa bed wasn't comfortable at all and it smelled like cigarettes. There's a room with 2 beds (1 double + 1 single) plus the external sofa bed, which is not the most ideal for 4 travellers.

it was great. we spent part of our vacation there and really loved it. it's clean, the grounds are well maintained and we really enjoyed it. the hotel also has private access to the beach. our dog finally had the opportunity to swim and move around freely there. it was really great! we will definitely be back :)

Beautiful lake view

We lived in a 4x apartment with a lake view. The water in the lake was very clean and pleasant for swimming, so we did not use the pool. In the apartment we had our own small kitchen with the necessary set of dishes. I was only with my husband, so there was enough space for us in the apartment, for 4x the apartment is a bit cramped.

The apartment has a set of furniture for the terrace, but there is no umbrella. Because of the blinding sun, we had to have breakfast with sunglasses.

A good choice for easy travellers that are not looking for luxury rooms.

The garden and the location and the building are perfect and very beautiful - With the rooms, it depends what you get!! On the internet they also show nice modern rooms, in the tower of the building - that is what we booked but did not get. The hotel has nice relaxation areas and nice pool and direct access to the lake and one can park the car right at the building. There were drinks at the mini bar at arrival. So if you are not expecting luxury but rather a 3 to 3+ Star room with perfect garden and direct lake access, then the hotel is the right one to choose. And there is a nice Marina and cozy bay restaurant next to the hotel and a beach coffee and snack bar with toasts and croissants in case you missed breakfast at the hotel.

Room was smaller than we expected. When we arrived we were told the tower rooms with balcony (which we booked) are fully booked. We got then a room / right at the lake side with small terrace. I believe because we booked with dog 🐶 they did not want to give us the more upscale room. The room was tiny with a cheap chinese tablet size flatscreen, the room had no cupboard but a few hangers and a small shelf, the bathroom is clean but tiny, the WiFi is not working well. The bed and pillows are at best 3star quality. And one feels in the room a bit like on a camping appartment. But at least right at the like. Not all rooms were booked but the hotel still filled the guest rooms next to each other so one could hear the TV and talking of the neighbours. So in summary a 3 Star guest experience for a 4 to 5 star price. We were ready to pay even more for a better room but that was not offered.

Rolig område med perfekt beliggenhet

Deilig med en litt tilbaketrukket leilighet for seg selv. (Mot hage for 5 personer) Bassenget var ikke overfylt og rent og pent. Beliggenheten var perfekt, rett ved vannet og med flere restauranger i nærheten. Mulighet for å lade elbil foran resepsjonen og ellers parkering rett ved leiligheten.

Det var ikke utstyr til å vaske opp i leiligheten. «Sovesofaen» var ikke god å sove på da den var av skinn og todelt med hard kant i midten.

Położenie tuż nad jeziorem, obok przystań stateczków którymi można dostać się do innych miejsc nad Gardą. W domku klimatyzacja, wygodne łóżko, w kuchni lodówka, ekspres przelewowy, naczynia, garnki ,sztućce. .Na tarasiku stolik i krzesła, leżaki, suszarka na ubrania. Sklep około 2 km. Miateczko małe, większe Desenzano ok.5 km. W ostatnim dniu pobytu stłukliśmy dzbanek ekspresu, zgłosiliśmy to w recepcji z zamiarem zapłacenia za szkodę. Pani ( chyba włąścicielka/zarządzajaca) z uśmiechem życzyła nam tylko szerokiej drogi. Bardzo to miłe, dziękujemy :)

Brakowało obiecanych kosmetyków w łazience, suszarki do włosów, płynu do naczyń w kuchni.

Keine Empfehlung

Es ist schwer dies in Worte zu fassen: der erste äußerliche Eindruck von der Zufahrt bis zum Erscheinungsbild der Gebäude ist top. Die Lage direkt am Gardasee und am Hafen ist top. Das Anwesen selbst ist augenscheinlich von weitem gesehen sehr ansprechend. Wir hatten für 6 Personen als Familie eine 100qm Ferienwohnung mit der Nummer 27 über booking.com gebucht. 1.339,20€ für 3 Nächte ist kein Schnäppchen. Im Internet wird diese Ferienwohnung als Apartment bezeichnet. Noch vor der Ankunft wurden wir per email informiert, dass ein Fahrzeug zum parken im Areal im Preis enthalten sei. Ein weiteres kostet 10€ zzgl. pro Nacht. Wir mussten sogar 15€ zzgl. pro Nacht bezahlen, da dies ein Transporter war. Davon abgesehen, dass wir mit 6 Personen nur ein Fahrzeug gratis parken dürfen, normale Gäste sind zu zweit. Oder alleine. Mit einem Fahrzeug. Und wir als Familie müssen extra bezahlen. Warum?? Das Frühstück kostete uns 80€ extra am Tag, obwohl es vom Standard- Buffet nach italienischem Vorbild bis auf Rührei keinerlei Mehrwert gab. Wir haben auch 80€ vor ein paar Wochen im 5Sterne Grand Hotel Berlin „Westin“ bezahlt. Das sind Welten als Unterschied. Die Zimmer der Wohnung sind abgelebt, die Betten einfache Matratzen auf Metallgestellen, die bei jeder Bewegung laut knarzten. Es gibt keinen Zimmerservice all die drei Tage, der Müll stapelt sich, das Klopapier geht aus. Handtücher werden dreckig. Es gibt keine Sitzauflagen und kein Geschirrtuch. Keine Seife im Bad und kein Spülmittel. Alles mussten wir selbst nachkaufen. Lediglich die Klimaanlage in der Wohnung ging sehr gut. Das wlan / Internet ist gratis aber nicht immer vorhanden. Das Personal ist von Anfang an aufgesetzt freundlich und macht uns den Eindruck unbeliebt zu sein. Die benachbarten Restaurants kosten das doppelte bis dreifache was in Italien so üblich ist. Wenn wir als Familie incl 3Jährigem Kind am Tisch sitzen sind schon mal 3,50€ pro Kopf nur als Coperto / Bewirtungsgebühr weg.

De locatie was super met mooi zicht op het meer.

Het appartementje was heel klein. Het bed in de kamer was heel laag.Onder het bed was niet gepoetst,lag vol stof. Geen plaats om je valies te zetten en je kon moeilijk naast bed lopen , zo klein was het .De tafel en stoelen van plastiek buiten zijn wel eens aan vervanging toe , waren ook niet netjes .Het was ook heel gehorig , je kon meeluisteren met de buren.

Odore di muffa intenso, si faceva fatica a stare dentro casa, pulizia scarsa, la porta principale non si chiudeva da dentro, e anche avvisata la reception non hanno preso in considerazione il problema, ho dormito due notti con la porta aperta! Pulizia scarsa, ragnatele incluse. Mezzo rotolo di carta igienica per due persone per due giorni! Il Lavandino non scaricava bene l’acqua e rimaneva pieno.
